Sorry these were bought as under armour so always wear other shorts on top.

Personally I use these as underwear so I always wear sports shorts, tracksuit bottoms or walking trousers over the top. My sports shorts have an inner mesh (like swimming shorts) but these compression shorts don't cause me any issues with that.
