Pair of Red and Light Blue Saber Shaped Space Keys - SC1

Provided I am no key expert, but these immediately caught my eye. They look exactly like the picture. They are a little longer than normal size keys but not so long that it annoys me or pokes me in my pocket.I cannot review what they look like after being cut because every store I have been to so far (Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot) has refused to cut these.

Sturdy, easy to turn. Look really cool. Took them to a safe shop. Old man cut them in 15 seconds.

These are awesome. A nice way to have something unique with you all the time

You must check to see which key size you need. I saw previous reviews and decided to go with "KW1/KW10" size which many people had said is the most common key size for a house key, turned out I needed the SC1 size for my house lock. It is not just a "standard" size as another user had posted, they are different and will not fit the lock if the wrong size is purchased.That being said, I love the product itself, and decided to re-buy (with my correct size).Just be warned, you may have a hard time finding someone to actually cut the key for you. I tried 3 different places before finding someone who was willing to cut it. Most places (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) will not cut the key as it was not store-bought from them. I ended up being referred to a "guy" at a local Ace Hardware who was willing to try cutting it for me, but made sure I was aware that he took no responsibility for the key if it didn't work after cutting. Kind of a finicky process just to have a novelty key cut, but the product itself is great.

Look awesome, but I picked the wrong style. Unfortunately to return them would cost me half what I paid.. I knew I shouldn't have bought something that wasn't Prime, so I guess I'll sell them locally to recoup the entirety of what I spent.

I was looking for a slim door key and came across these. That they look like lightsabers was just a bonus.I received the keys yesterday so I haven't been using them very long and therefore can't speak to the longevity of the paint, but it appears to be well applied and I was more concerned with the actual profile of the key. In that regard, I'm very satisfied; they feel great in the hand, somewhat sturdier than my original door keys, and the somewhat longer length if anything makes them easier to handle.I didn't run into any trouble getting them cut at my local locksmith, who was happy to do it for a couple of bucks, and they work smoothly in my locks.I recommend this product, but good luck not making sound effects while using them.

I love my new keys. These things look AWESOME, now that I've gone through the surprisingly difficult process of getting them cut. Everywhere I went to have them cut wouldn't touch them, as they didn't want to risk messing them up. Luckily, I have a friend who works at Lowes and she cut them for me. Now that they're cut though, they are the cats meow. People always comment on them and besides looking cool, they are so much slimmer than a regular key, so they don't feel as bulky in your pocket. I'm VERY happy with this purchase. If you get them though, understand that getting them cut is a real pain in the butt.

These look amazing, and are quality keys. Just be warned - they are INCREDIBLY long. Approximately twice the length of a normal key. It doesn't bother me because they live on my belt, but if you're a key pocketer, I do not recommend these.Turning the key is slightly more difficult than the average key because of the small diameter of the hilt. But it's not an issue.Paint has held up fine with 2 months of daily use so far. It is high quality. Worth the money.
