One of the best smart coffee makers I have ever owned that makes some great tasting coffee!
After 2 replacements and 4 years my old smart coffee maker (from a well-known brand) finally died. So, I was looking for a new smart coffee maker as I like the option of being able to use an app or Alexa to turn on and off my coffee maker. I came across this Atomi Smart WiFi Coffee Maker and even after reading some of the reviews (which I always do) I went ahead and requested it. I can tell you after using it for the past few days I'm impressed with the quality and performance of this smart coffee maker. It works better than the old brand I had and the taste of my coffee is so much better. I love how easy it is to setup and use with my favorite ground coffee or some of freshly ground coffee beans. I read other reviews were some people had issues with the app working or connecting to WiFi but the only issue I had was when setting it up for the first time I had to add it to the app manually as the app wasn't finding. Once I had it added, which only took a minute, it worked perfectly with both the Atomi app and Alexa. I recommend that you have the coffee maker near your router or possible use a WiFi extender as my router is only about 20 feet from my kitchen and the location of the smart coffee maker. I think that helped a lot in setting it up and getting it to connect to my WiFi. I was able to turn on my coffee this morning while outside doing some work so when I came back in my coffee was hot and ready. Overall, I love the quality and the taste and how great this smart coffee maker works and highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

Cannot Reheat Coffee - Cannot reheat coffee from afar so it's warm when you get home.
It's embarrassing this is called a "smart" coffee maker. Why is it "smart?" 100% because you can use your phone to either set it's scheduled starts, or to turn it on to brew a pot. Coffee remains warm for 4 hours AND THAT IS IT. That's it. Nothing else. You cannot go to an appointment, remember the pot might have turned off, turn it on on your way home so you can have that one more cup of hot coffee... no. It will error out that it doesn't have water to brew a new pot. There's nothing "smart" about this pot, if it always requires you to set up a pot to brew, being able to turn it on remotely is dependent on whether you were smarter to set up the pot. If you had half a pot left from earlier and just wanted to reheat it, nope.As mentioned elsewhere - if you accidentally unplug it and plug it back in, that's it - you get no more hot coffee the rest of the day. I cannot say how dumb this is. For the pricetag, not having a simple 'keep coffee warm' feature - it's a hotplate. How do you have it so you can't turn on the hotplate? Seriously, if you want a coffee pot designed by non-coffee drinkers to merely be able to hit an on switch from out of the room, this is for you. What would be smarter is a dumb on/off coffee maker set always to "on" with a smart outlet. It would be about 10% of the cost and you'd be able to have a hot cup of coffee waiting for you without resetting the pot.UPDATE: it will no longer connect. It won't brew. It is full of water, and the thing refuses to even brew a pot. I've redone the set up for an hour, can't even get it to do anything. It claims it has no water, and every trouble shooting tip is "make sure it has water" or "make sure it is plugged in." there's no "hey, if this fails, hold this down 8 minutes and it should brew"...nothing. I have an expensive paper weight.

F***ing FINALLY found a Wi-Fi enabled Coffee Maker
I love it. Unlike the Bunn Speed Brew that I returned because it was a colossal pain in the *** to operate, this Atomi is simple and does exactly what it's supposed to. Makes delicious hot coffee and I can turn it on from bed so I am notified the moment it's ready. What's the use of a clock if you don't wake up the same time every day? This way I roll over and grab my phone and hit the coffee button and moments later it notifies me that "the coffee is ready". Another attractive feature is it is manageable so my coffee is the same strength every day depending only on the beans etc. It is very simple to clean and set back up for the next morning. I can go have it as soon as I stumble into the kitchen without waiting. It's hard to believe the rest of the industry is so far behind the curve on this one. ALL coffee makers should be equipped with wifi. Anyhow I love this thing and I am so glad I tried this maker I had not previously heard of. It's the bomb! Every other coffee maker equipped with Wi-Fi is $150 or more and this one was under $100 but the more expensive ones can't possibly be any better because this one is perfect. The industry is far behind the curve on this and have really missed the opportunity.

Good.
My Behmor Connect coffee maker finally died after almost 7 years of use and it's no longer made, unfortunately. I wanted to replace it with another smart coffee maker and I'm surprised there aren't more options out there other than this and a Hamilton Beach version. Is this as good as the Behmor, with the stainless water chamber and the ability to control the water temperature and bloom time? Absolutely not. But it does the basic things that you want a smart coffee maker to do - Alexa voice control, an app to set it up and a notification sent to my Apple Watch when the coffee is ready. This does all of these thing well.Other positives: the low profile and compact size of the maker itself makes it perfect for under-cabinet use. The coffee pot has a wide mouth and the top flips all the way back so it's incredibly easy to clean. Set up was simple. I'm not having the issue of the pot not holding the button that indicates the pot is off the warming plate but I'll keep an eye on this. The quality of the coffee it makes is fine, although if I had one thing I'd improve on this is that I'd like the coffee a little hotter but it's not a deal breaker. I don't care that you can't extend the time of the warming plate past 4 hours because coffee that's been sitting on a warming plate that long is essentially undrinkable anyway.Overall I'd recommend this. Lots of positives to this model, for me at least.
