Perfect part for Kohler - it goes between the hand shower and the shower hose. This is the correct rubber washer with screen and it fits Kohler perfectly. This is for a shower head that is connected to the metal braided hose. Put it between the shower head and the hose, and it will maintain a seal and also trap any sediment.

Original equipment
Washer in my hand shower had split and was leaking. I tried replacing it with a standard washer and bit of aereator screen but it still leaked. This is OEM part and stopped the leak just fine. Will it split like the old one did? Maybe, but if it lasts 10 years then it's a few bucks well spent!

Works as expected
It works as expected. Anticipating a less than optimal lifespan due to quality of the gasket portion of part. I could be wrong, but the fit & finish of the gasket is choppy at best.
