Takane & Hana, Vol. 12

Takane had some serious character development going on in vol 12 and I loved it. What I didn’t love was Hana and her sudden switch up. It doesn’t make sense at all and the reason she gives just doesn’t really add up. I get the kidnapping but that seems to be a separate issue. She goes from fighting to win him over to look at all the complications of us being together. I get that she’s 16 but I’m kinda over the childishness of her. Not really here for how Okamon is being used either. The fake boyfriend suggestion was too cliche.Overall, I feel short changed on this volume. Like other than the first couple of pages not enough happened to keep me interested. And the supposed plot twist were just blah. I hope the next one is as good as the first 11 vols. Ugh I feel like all this anticipation was for nothing 😭. 4/5 because I loved the story up until now.

A good romantic comedy manga series

I'm loving this series so far. Can't wait for vol 13. :D

Was told this book was ‘like new” but the spine is messed up and it was supposed to be part of my collection. Very upset
