Being the mom of five, I spend my fair share of time on bleachers or on hard seats. I needed a soft seat that would be easy to take along. This Cushy Cloud Memory Foam Cushion is just what I was looking for.Some of my favorite things about this cushion are:--It's really soft and comfortable. The main reason I bought this is to alleviate the sore muscles and sore backside from sitting too long. This accomplishes this in spades.--The outer cover is soft. In fact, there are two! And its washable. You can't beat that.--It comes with a handled carrier so it's easy to take along.--The bottom of the cushion is non-slip. That means when I wiggle a bit if things get boring, the cushion's not going to slide off the seat.--This is guaranteed by the seller. If I have problems, I'll be taken care of.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a super comfortable and quality seat cushion.

I ordered two different seat cushions to test out for an upcoming 6+ hour flight. I have back problems and usually just sit on comfy full sized pillows but it this type of seat is a bit easier to carry around for travel. It is thinner than I expected but that turned out to be a good thing. The other seat I ordered was much to thick, felt like a booster, and the edge sat on my thighs as a pressure point. This seat does not do that. I've used it for a bit now and it has been comfortable for all day use, no numbness, needles, or pain in my back neck or bum. The cover has a zip closure so you can remove and wash it. I think it will be a good fit for my flight which makes me very happy.

Let me start by saying that this seat cushion is absolutely amazing. The memory foam is the perfect middle-ground between firm and cushy, and the outside fabric is so soft that it is FUN to rub and touch (no kidding-- if I happen to be mindlessly wandering past my Cushy Cloud, I almost always have to pick it up, slide my hand across it, etc). I also love the fact that it comes with two different fabrics that are interchangeable. The packaging is very well done, and even the bag it comes in is quality--it can easily be re-purposed as a re-usable grocery bag or something else useful.I first purchased a Cushy Cloud cushion a year or two ago and loved it, so after misplacing it while moving, I immediately went back to purchase another one. When I got on Amazon, I could see that it had been redesigned, but I ordered anyway. I still can't believe how much they were able to improve upon a product that was already outstanding. If you enjoyed the previous model of this cushion, I am telling you-- you need to buy this!! Well worth it.

I've been looking for a seat cushion to help with some of the problems I have with sciatic pain. I have tried several different cushions and find that the cushions are either too firm and cause more problems, or they are too soft and don't provide any relief. This cushion falls, mostly, in the latter. It is soft and cushy, like the name implies, but it is a bit too cushy, so that after sitting on it for more than about 5-10 minutes it begins to be rather flat. If you put it on a chair that already has some cushion, it will ease the pressure off the sciatic nerve. But if you use it on a firm chair, like a bench, non-padded seat, etc., it will feel too firm after about the 5-10 minutes. I would love to find something a bit more firm, but not stiff.

This has been really helpful on my tailbone. I have been suffering quite a bit lately with pain in my tailbone if I am sitting for too long a time frame. Just got a new job and the office chairs were making my time excruciatingly painful. By the time I got home, I just wanted to lay down on my stomach to get pressure off my tailbone. All to do it again the next day. I knew I needed something. I got this cushion and lo and behold I'm able to sit again and not have complaints for the entire second half of my day. Very soft. There are times that when I'm sitting on it too long that it can get uncomfortable. Usually just getting up for 5 mins, or readjusting it around my tailbone and I'm good to go longer periods now. And, I am literally able to go home and not want to cry from the pain, as it's just not bugging me anymore. I'll probably get another one so I can carry it for travel and just keep this one at work. Finally some relief.

It is so hard I might as well sit on a hard chair seat. I'm not impressed at all. And the front to back measurement is not very big. My back side hangs over the back and it is not comfortable. But the biggest downside is how hard it is. I am amazed at the other good reviews this seat gets. But for me its a no deal. Its going back right away.

No more sore butt from sitting all day. It's starting to lose shape a bit after 3 weeks of use (I'm 100 lbs), but I'll update my post in another few months. I can't wait to try this for road trips!Updated 3 weeks after purchase: I had originally given this cushion a 4 star rating, but I'm reducing it down to 2 star because it has already lost its shape and now has the mold of my bum permanently dented in from 6 hours of daily use over 3 weeks. While it is still comfortable after losing its form, I can't see this lasting more than 4 months. I'd have to constantly replace it.

I've only had this cushion for about an hour and I already can tell how much better I feel. I have fibromyalgia and sitting in an office chair can be painful. I was going to buy one of those expensive, heavily padded office chairs and have it delivered to my office (paying personally for office furniture can cause uncomfortable water cooler conversation), but I decided to give this a try first. I'm so glad I did. I'm going to buy a couple more and start working on how to waterproof this puppy to take it to the baseball games we like to go to during the summer. It's going to take a little bit of work figuring out the correct chair height for working, but well worth the effort. And so far, they weren't lying about the "doesn't flatten out" part. It's firm, but not hard. It took some effort getting the cushion into the cover, but it looks great with or without it. The carrying case it comes with is the basic grocery store cloth shopping bag with a clear plastic front, but it seems well stitched.
