Profoundly Captivating and Lyrical Poetry
As a person who has experienced profound loss in life, I found this slim volume of poetry relatable, moving, dark and uplifting all at the same time. This book speaks directly to my heart and soul. The author has a completely unique, original voice that exquisitely captures the human experience of love gained and lost, passion, and at times just the overwhelming joy of being alive. This is a volume I will find myself reading over and over, writing on post-it's, and giving to friends. This book is a true work of art.

Wonderfully written!
This book is so different from other poetry books I've read on here it deserves a spot on my coffee table. It starts of a bit slow in part one, but then accelerates and finds a very pleasant (yet sometimes dark) rhythm in part 2 and 3. It's simply lovely and strange at the same time, and I'll be on the lookout for any future books from this author.

Truly a wonderful collection. Bird manages to capture everything he wants to say, with metaphors that you never would have seen coming. A treat and a half to read. 10/10 would recommend
