I’ll preface this with two disclaimers first this is not a product to deal with an infestation. Second I used this in conjunction with some roach boric acid powder. I went around my home with the raid maxx it was easy to use and followed it by filling some crevices and covered areas with boric acid powder (where pets wouldn’t get to). The next morning my wife called me outside to what I can only describe as total annihilation. There were so many dead roaches we had to sweep them into a pile so they dog wouldn’t eat them easily 100+. I think it was the combo that really did them in. But the perimeter defense gives peace of mind.

So our new house has become a favorite for many types of spiders and ants. The professional pest control man says that they just seem to love certain homes! Perhaps, but I don't like seeing ants parading around the house saying, "Let's invade boys!" He can take charge of killing them for the low, low price of just $75 a month. Ouch! I decided to take matters into my own hands, so I bought this Raid Pest Control. Two bottles of it and I proceeded to spray it around the entire outside of the house. I also sprayed it around doors and windows and even along the paths back to the yard where the ants were holding their daily meetings! So, did it work? Yes and No. The next two weeks, the number of ants and other pests dropped considerably. All except on the front covered porch of our house. For some reason, the ants decided not to concede that territory. So, I sprayed it again after a few days. Keep in mind, there was no rain during that time, and I coated the porch, which is about 10 x 8 feet of concrete. The ants went away again, but within 3 days they were back. I considered using a flame thrower, but that seemed to be a little over the top. I thus concluded that this product, Raid, works well on contact and when it is fresh, but it doesn't seem to work as well after 3 to 4 days. I know the product says it will work for a prolonged period, and it does around our garage...but the ants on our front porch simply take a few days off and then return in mass. I like the product and find that it works some of the time. However, for pesky ants, it doesn't seem to stop them. We've since started using a gel product that the professional companies use, and it works much better. Perhaps I'll review it in the future after we monitor it for more time. My conclusion: This Raid product will help control pests, but it doesn't quite do the job on everything.

Excellent product and at a good price.

I’ve been using Raid MAX Perimeter Protection all year long, and it’s one of the best bug control products I’ve tried. I spray it around doors, windows, and outside around the house, and it really helps keep insects from getting inside. The refill lasts a long time, and I like that it works for both indoor and outdoor use. It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and I’ve noticed a big difference in the amount of bugs around my home. This has become a regular product I keep stocked year-round because it’s reliable and effective.

Ineffective, I sprayed the insects directly, they just run away, the aerosol is more effective. I do not know whyRaid is marketing this. Completely disappointed, returned the product, Amazon charged me a return fee of $11 for a useless item. they must have Lab studies on this product, maybe I got an expired item.

Protects your home from unwanted pests. Easy to use, battery powered trigger keeps up a steady stream of bug juice. Works great, sets up a perimeter defense to keep bugs out. Works great and no odor. I use it outside, around the house and walkways. You can see the results, as pests move away from treated areas. Raid products work best for me. Will buy more.
