I bought this book for a class in my master's program. It's a great way to build on and assess your knowledge about phonics!

Perfect for my course I took!

I purchased this as a required text for a reading class. Going through this has been extremely helpful and informative as it is laid out in a fill-in-the-blank format which helps you practice using phonemes, and phonics. It can be information overload at times because of the sheer number of rules and details, but Fox does a good job of breaking down concepts into easy to understand language. There are a lot of examples, guided practice and assessments that you can do to test your knowledge. The small tidbits of history on the English language and specific letters are also great.
