Erfasst wirklich jeden Golfball, den man in Reichweite sichtet, einerlei ob im Wasser oder im unzugänglichen Gebüsch. Nur die Klemmvorrichtung für den beweglichen Ring ist etwas schwergängig, aber das muss wohl so sein, da der Retriever in der Golftragetasche aufbewahrt wird und dementsprechend im Golfwagen auf unebenen Gelände kräftig geschüttelt wird, was ohne die Klemmvorrichtung den beweglichen Ring und vor allem dessen Federung schnell überlasten würde.
