If you are looking for the greatest numbers of Bach pieces per pound then this is surely it. If I was trying to build this set up from individual works then it would be much more expensive and I might have been forced to miss out on some piecesThe settings are good, clear, legible. I'm not yet immersed enough to worry about the nuances between different Bach editions . I don't find the volume too thick or too heavy although it is thick and so is heavier than anything else of I have in this size.The comb binding allows every page to stay flat - no need for bulldog clips or spine breaking. It may ultimately be a source of weakness too and perhaps a few years down the line some pages may come loose - but that also happens with other forms of bindingOverall I am very pleased with this collection and have many years of Bach to look forward to.

Fantastic! Couldn’t love more! I bought it as a second-hand but it arrives just as new. So it’s rly worth the money I paid. Definitely would buy other books in the future in this store.

The Book Itself - 4 star - this is a huge collection that is on quality paper, easy to read, and clear. The book is massive and difficult to handle, heavy for those flimsy music stands that come on electric pianos. Each piece ends on the same sheet of paper as the next piece starts, so it's not a friendly book to re-bind individual pieces together for lightweight transport or handling convenience. You're basically stuck with a giant book, and probably will break your back if you regularly take this to practice/performance in your backpack. Worth the money if you want a handy bible of Bach piano tunes at your disposal, look at other options if you aren't prepared for the physical handling effort needed for this chunky book. 100% would buy this again if I lost it... but.....The Delivery - the box I received this in was perfectly fine, and well packaged with the other items, but the book itself was crumpled up in the back like it was damaged before it was boxed. I don't believe in wasting shipping / time / effort on a replacement for an item like this that is still usable... but there is no option on this listing for a full or partial refund for the poor condition this was received in. Any book store that would sell this would mark it down before taking my money, and I don't mind having books in poor condition if they still serve their purpose... I just hate the fact that I paid full price for a sub-standard condition book from a listing that promised "new" condition. I prefer the damages to come from me, not from the vendor, and I don't appreciate the lack of option to get a partial refund for being sent an item that was not what was agreed to in our transaction at the checkout.
