KT TapePro Extreme Synthetic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips

The KT Tape Pro is VERY adhesive! So much so that it is difficult to remove all of it when I take it off. Rubbing alcohol works though! It has helped during my workouts tremendously! It is not water proof but the original KT Tape was.

This review applies only to the Black KT tape. The Tan KT tape is terrible!!!I have used KT tape over the years and found it to be effective in relieving pain and providing support for my knees. I like the convenience of the precut strips. These hold up well in the pool, sauna and when I sweat heavily. My right knee has been a problem since I kind of over did it with my cycling. I had a severe pain after cycling from either my meniscus, LCL or MCL. Anyway it hurt like hell. I taped it to give support to my patella using two precut strips at full tension. It made a tremendous difference in my gait and I am healing nicely. It's been about 3 weeks since my injury and looking forward to getting back on the bike in another week or two. KT Tape seems to be more effective then my knee supporters. The tape gives me the support I need without the compression from the knee sleeves. In fact I think the knee supporter may have contributed to my problem by applying excessive pressure to my joint. The KT tape stays in place for 5 - 7 days before I feel the need to replace it. It peels of easily, does not cause any skin irritation.

Really works on neck pain

Sticks well for tennis and for injury, rotator cuff.Provides stability when used correctly. Refer tutorials to use tape correctly for body part & injury.

I do love the KT tape. I even got the pink polka dot to be trendy. Worked great on my knees. Followed the video in the directions. They go a little fast but kept rewinding.Now I need on my hand. I tried to move a heavy box and throbbing since Feb. 2022. Of course I should see a Dr. She did send me for an X-ray. Noted degenerative changes. Don’t know how since nothing to compare to. Need specialist now.So I followed directions and when I wash my hands. I only get the fingers on that hand. In an hour or so the tape starts coming up as seen in picture. The other side is fine. Maybe it’s because it is my dominant hand. Feels much better since using the tape. But changing strips once or twice a day. Maybe just should try taping the top only. But, not water resistant. Soaks in moisture and loosens tape. Still my favorite. Feels like wearing a brace. It’s amazing. Just have to order too soon and expensive.So, my stars above are only related to the hand. Tape excellent everywhere else.

Pros: it works!Cons: not at all waterproofI’m giving it 5 stars because it works. I have had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for 2+ years now. I have done everything I can think of to help it. Insoles, shoes, sleeping in a boot, other wraps and contraptions, ice, heat, stretches. You name it Ive done it. I’ve finally given up on trying to help it and quit looking for stuff for a year. Then, This tape randomly came across my FB and I decided to read the comments. I seen the raving reviews but was skeptical because every other thing I’ve purchased had just as good of reviews. I figured what’s another 15$ down the hole at this point.After the first initial taping it was miraculously better. I don’t know what sorcery this is but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! My pain is gone! I’ve had it a week and I haven’t stopped taping myself yet. I want to use it for a while in hopes it might correct the issue. The only downfall is that it is NOT waterproof or water resistant. I have to shower everyday, and the second I step in the shower it slides right off. That does make for easy peeling if you are ready for it to be off, because when it’s dry it sticks so well. It’s not great when you are wanting it on for a few days to not have to buy so much. I’ve done the prep- shaving, exfoliating, making sure the area is clean, even cleaned area with alcohol. Then once on I rub it real good. As long as I keep it’s dry It stays on perfectly fine for a few days. Some parts still stick okay when wet, but not enough to be able to salvage it and wear another day. I’ve tried wrapping my foot up to keep it dry but water still manages to get in and ultimately ruins the wrap. I won’t reduce the stars just for the fact it is the only thing on this planet to help so far. I don’t know how long I can afford to keep using 2-3 pieces a day though.

This tape is amazing.. the support it provides is great… the adhesive really does last until you actually remove it.. had to use baby oil to so it would release from my skin.. i would highly recommend this product

I was recently prescribed to wear a ZIO XT heart monitoring device. it fell off on the second day of wearing it, as their adhesive just doesn’t work for me. I sweat a lot and while riding my elliptical machine it came off. I reapplied it several times, but it kept coming off. Normal surgical tape, even the waterproof brand, just wouldn’t work for more than 24 hours. And the device adhesive, nor the surgical tape, could stay on after showering, which I do twice a day as a plumber.I found this product on Amazon. I’m glad I did. It is extremely comfortable, and keeps the device on for several days. I can shower in it, and work up a real sweat, and the device will not come off. In fact, the tape has not failed me yet, I just replace it with a new tape every few days.I would highly recommend this product for anyone, trying to stick something to their body while being active, sweating, and showering.
