What you need for attaching to steel beams
For use with DeWalt dcn890/891 nail gun. Both gun and nails work extremely well. These particular nails are the correct shape and hardness for shooting into I-beams or 3/8" wall metal posts. Generally leaves 3/8" of the nails protruding, but that 1/4" embedded into the steel is solid. When I've used them, very few nails failed to grab. Maybe 1 out of 50 attempts. Probably not all due to the nail, sometimes user error or varying surface strength. Highly recommend for attaching "thin" materials to structural steel, i.e. steel studs, electrical boxes, stucco lathe. Order early, may take a week plus to receive, but hard to find at most every brick and mortar store
