This security system (being the only one I own), seems to provide all I need for a home security system. The cameras are not the best, but for the price they are ok. A bit grainy but ok. My biggest complaint is the lack of documentation. After mutteling around on the internet and youtube, I was able to find what I need. The cables that come with the system are nice and work well, however I find that drilling a 3/4" hole to get the BNC Cable through can be troublesome. So, I purchased a CAT 5 cable and the necessary ends watched youtube videos and saw how to make my own cable. This way, I only have to fish a small line through the wall and it does not have to be a hole 3/4" wide.

anyone have a damn clue how to use the software that came with this system?! ... i've been trying for now 2.5 years and i still can't figure out how to set up a proper tour on the PTZ cam. I would like to be able to control everything from my cell phone without having to destroy settings every time i need to pause the tour.With that being said, since this thing has horrible software with ZERO help files of any sort ( everything is completely generic to the point where it seems NOBODY owns anything) i can't rate this much higher than 2 stars. Trying to use google for further help is also impossible since it seems these systems are unheard of to the general public?? i thought this stuff would be much easier to use by now. But no.

It's analog technology, but works fine. The DVR save digital. Just need more room in the hard drive. Installation is easy to setup and Internet access is fair enought.
