Amazon first sent a piece of junk tape. No idea what it was but I returned it for a refund. Reordered this as Roberts Tape but no label on it at all. Works like Roberts and I successfully was able to tape down a carpet runner onto dense pile carpet without the runner "traveling" every time I walked on it. The adhesive leaves a terrible mess if I ever want to remove the runner, but it works. Messy to use, but there is nothing else on the market that works.

I used this tape for outdoor carpet on a covered porch. I ran out and only needed about 12 more feet, so I picked up another brand from the local big box home store and it was not even sticky compared to this stuff. This is extremely sticky carpet tape at a fantastic price.

Used this tape to install carpet tile. Adhered very well. Once stuck down almost impossible to pull back up.
