Nice steps
The steps are nice. They are wide enough and I like the width of the steps itself, cons are the handles are not as solid as I would like them to be and it definitely needs to come with weights or the sand or both overall I'm satisfied

Nice steps!
Super easy to put together. I added the sand to both sides outside of the pool. I used a cup and funnel to keep the sand even between the sides. Once they fill just tip the stairs forward to distribute the sand to the other chambers and keep filling. Put the handles on and secure into place with the screws. The two of us were able to lift it up and over the side of the pool with no problems. Tip it around to let the water in and the air out, put into place and secure the top to your decking. Super easy. The hand rails could be better for sure but overall they are nice steps.

Very easy to install. No sand/weight required!
If you want to skip pouring sand inside the stairs or tying weights to the side to prevent the stairs from floating, then this method is for you. The reason the stairs float is due to the rails being able to slide up and down inside the brackets that secure it to your deck. To solve this you want to get the stairs positioned inside the pool where you want them, then secure the brackets to your deck, then screw one screw into the side of the brackets and directly into the rail as shown in the picture (one screw in each bracket to rail). Remember you are screwing into plastic, so it doesn’t have to be super tight, so just snug them up, if you go slow, you will feel when the bracket and the rail has been snugged together by the screw, this is where you want to stop. I used 2 of the screws provided to do this. The stairs will fill with water due to the holes already in them and the screws prevent them from floating.

Does what I need but has room for improvement
Pros: I like the square design. I like the look. I like that it has “bars” to avoid something/someone from going behind the stairs without intent.Cons: easily floats up even with us adding on the additional weights you can purchase that are designed for this. We were able to add more weights (used large juice jugs filled with sand and zip tied to bottom of ladder) and this stopped the floating. (Plan to spend $70-80 on the added weights and sand you need to buy at a minimum. I’m quite dissatisfied with the flimsy feel of the handrails — seem to be for structural stability than hand rail use. They easily “bend” with pressure is applied. If you make a mistake in putting it together it may be a problem due to how it’s constructed to be assembled….I made an error in construction of the bottom part and had to go buy more zip ties… it uses really large zip ties to keep the bottom “sliders” that touch the pool floor attached to the ladder… wasn’t expecting that but it works.Neutral: price point is average for other stairs . Would love to see an adapter piece to go over pool rail that attaches to the stairs. I’d buy that.
