Easy to install and work's great.

Timer did not function like current timer
While the installation of the timer was simple or less than 5 minutes, the timer did not function like the current timer. I am replacing the timer because the ON/Pull of the timer knob is extremely difficult for even me but more so for my spouse. After installing the new timer, the COTTON cycle would not complete which resulted in only partially spun clothes. If I manually moved the timer slightly ahead, it would finish the cycle. I tried the COTTON cycle several times but the cycle never completed.The other irritating item is when I clicked on get product support it points to the GE website.First I checked the availability of the timer part on the GE part website. It stated the part is no longer available. Looking at the part number on the new part, the part numbers of the new part is Kingston 71291 A00129 and the old part is Kingston 71291 A05073 which leads one to suspect the new part is an older revision than the old part.Second, GE parts contact number stated they have never supported GE parts shipped by Amazon.Regardless, the new part does not function like the old part.

Installed with no problem but spin cycle does not engage until you press on dial to start. Very frustrating.

Bad from the factory. Not vendors fault.
Having installed this unit and fought with it for several weeks I’ve determined that it is defective because it doesn’t control the water temperature or have a spin cycle. I’ve spent hours on the phone with technicians and done the troubleshooting recommended and it was they who determined that the only answer was that the timer was defective. I will update this later after I have talked with the vendor. It’s not unheard of to have a bad product with no fault of the seller. It’s a factory unit packed by the manufacturer and sometimes it happens.

Works great.
This fixed my washer was getting stuck on fill. Waisted a ton of water and never cleaned. Now works like new.
