Easy to use for seniors
I bought the Doro 6060 Unlocked 2G Clamshell phone for my 80 year old neighbour, and she’s using it with no problem. The big buttons and simple interface make it very easy to use. A reliable phone for anyone who prefers straightforward functionality.

Great Doro, Great Colour, Nice extra screen
So where to begin .... Its my mum and dads (80) favourite Mobile. having had Doro mobiles now for around 10 years this was a no brainer upgrade from the same clam shell devices that's been used before. They had the keys wearing out, scratches and the batteries were not lasting on their current devices so it was time to upgrade! This new upgrade red Doro came with a charging dock, and external screen which saves mum trying to open it to see who it is calling and for around £60-70 its a bargain. Its only 2G but with 3G being phased out in 2022 I am not bothered. (Little worried about 2025+ possible 2G possible phase out also) Ok so its basic but lets face it you are not buying this for social media or imessage! My mums texts are often reply's of 'OK' or 'XXX'. Also they don't use any data at all. So what's the only issues with it? Well these are the same as before. Its just needs software on a PC that you can connect it via the USB and transfer the Telephone numbers across and all the messages rather than the normal SIM transfer than can only be done on the keypad and takes ages. Also updating the Wallpaper, adding any 'ABBA' ringtones rather than the poor selection. Surely in 2021 we can have a Doro link software to make all the sons and daughters task of swapping a parents Doro mobile over to the new model easier?! Other than that its Great!

Simplicity and ease
Bought this for my 75yr old Dad who, having chewed his hand up in working at a Sawmill (circular saw) years ago, struggles - to say the least - with touch-screen. He's thrilled to bits. Battery is lasting forever - and he's a big fan of the charging cradle. Screen offers medium and LARGE lettering (might better be called Large and HUGE!). It's nice and chunky so doesn't slide out of his hand. Big clear buttons. Simple interface. And it makes calls! Jackpot!

Good basic phone for the elderly (not tech minded)
Good phone but my sim card does not fit, I bought this for Hubby as he still has his Nokia 3110, but his sim card which he has had for 30 yrs is to big, so I said I will have it to replace my old Dora, but my sim is to big. I do not want to change numbers, so keep it as a back up. Hopefully some tech minded person can tell me how to replace my sim and keep my numbers, but I have no idea. being 70 plus LOL.

A simple phone that is easy to use
I purchased this phone a few months ago and it is just what I wanted - a simple phone for making the occasional short call and sending text messages, using a Pay as You Go SIM card for maximum economy, with a lovely big screen, big text, and easy to operate. It is very reasonbly priced so I don't worry too much about losing it. It is unlikely to be nicked because of the limited number of functions, but I have received quite a lot of compliments on how stylish it looks. Its battery life is extraordinarily good and usually runs for two weeks before the phone reminds me it needs a top up. Finally, its clamshell design means there is no more pocket or handbag dialing by mistake!

Very limited space for text messages
My mother, who is in her 90s, has been using this phone for over a year now and it works. The buttons are big, the screen is clear, the sound is fine. BUT there is very limited space for text messages (SMS) and she periodically has to delete several in order to be able to send or receive new messages. (The problem begins with sending.) If she's flustered she'll sometimes delete everything, which isn't ideal as there could be something important there. I've added an SD card to the phone but there is no option to store text messages on it so it was pretty pointless. Overall, a phone that works but that has one MAJOR problem.
