So far so good. We've only had this a short time and hoses don't tend to last long in the heat here in Florida. But we're storing it with the valve open so pressure cannot build up in the hose as it sits out on the deck (an old reel-model sold on TV years ago literally exploded when the sprayer nozzle was accidentally left on). This hose doesn't behave quite the way most expandable hoses do on TV when you close the valve and turn on the water it does expand to nearly it's full length of 25 feet. Our main use is adding water to the pool in this oddly drought like summer we're having. When the water is shut off this doesn't, like the hoses on TV come scurrying back to you like a puppy, I think the solid brass end being one of the major reasons. On our patio the hose compacts itself to about 50%, maybe a little more, of it's expanded length. But coils up by hand the rest of the way quite easily. The whole hose hangs from our faucet/spigot without touching the ground so it keeps out of the dirt. I bought a set of gaskets to augment a water timer that dripped and made a horrible noise that echoed throughout the house. I thought I'd have to add one to the hose but the gasket that came with it was more than enough to keep things from dripping. I'll update the review if the hose suddenly fails but for the limited use it gets I expect it will last a while.January 21st - Hose still going strong; Weekly use by our pool service company and I fill up the pool about once a month in these dry winter months. Hose still appears to be quite durable.

Hose was great before it exploded after less than 2 weeks of use. My only complaint before that, was the ball valve on the end had a very slight leak, like maybe one drop of water per second. I wanted to like this hose.

Initially, I was pleased with its ability to be stored in small spaces. However, 1-month and 3-days following the purchase, it completely failed. The hose separated from the metal/brass coupling leaving me with frayed hose material and seemingly quality, but equally worthless, brass connectors.Due to the time period for return, 1-month, I missed the deadline and am stuck with a 100% worthless hose.I sense that there are significant issues with quality control on this item despite the description.Unless your need is extremely temporary, this hose should not be purchased.

Was watering azaleas with this nice hose and then shut off and added spray bottle to apply pesticide to palm but when I turned on the water the middle of the hose blew out for no apparent reason. It lasted for 58 days with only weekly usage. It was stored on a wall mounted hose reel so it had no unusual stresses in its short lifespan.

Already had one, and it worked well, so another at a good price was a really good buy. Have used them for a few months now without any problems. They hold up well and also shrink down to store out of the way. And the light weight makes watering a breeze. A good hose in my estimation.

The cover to the end that connects to a nozzle or handle keeps sliding off as soon as the water fills the hose - the other cover stays in place. This is a bit of a pain. Other than this issue, the hose is great and shrinks back to small

This hose appears to be of good quality, but it started to spray water from the sides in less than a week of use.Do not buy this hose.

I used just 2 times, first time warked like charm, second time, literally it blow up; can't be used anymore. Before thi product, i bought another one from China,cheap, but worse, one time use... so, I tried this product, and, like i said before, just used 2 times :(
