Only lasted a Month
I bought these to replace my Bose noise cancelling headphones as they had started to make a buzzing noise. These headphones are not a patch on the bose ones. Whilst the pausing when removing is a good feature the noise cancelling on the headphones is very poor. You can hear almost every noise with it turned on. I had to switch back to my old bose headphones on one train journey when I could hear every word a particularly annoying passenger was saying, on his hour long phone conversation, even with the volume full.My main issue with the headphones is that they stopped working, just sitting listening to music and they stopped. Now i just get not supported by this device.

Support is a charade
Update to my original review after the earphones started failing after 3 months.I bought my second pair in early 2023 after the first pair lasted 3 years. The right earphone in the new pair developed a low frequency flutter after 3 months that came on as soon as they were plugged into my phone. I tried troubleshooting it with their support docs, resetting the Rayz app on my phone, submitting a troubleshooting ticket, and getting a number of support tickets via email with further instructions if I needed to file a warranty claim.Every email I replied to would trigger a new ticket and the same canned instructions, but nobody ever replied with an RMA or return address.I tried calling, but it would always end up going to a general voicemail that I'm guessing was never processed since I never got a response to any of my messages.I sent various emails asking for further support, referencing all the previous tickets I was given, never receiving a response from anyone.Clearly, they're not in the business of providing any support or honoring their warranty. The earphones finally got to the point of being unusable today, less than a year after purchase, as the right earphone now makes a loud crackling noise while plugged in.Unfortunately, I won't take the risk of trying to replace them with another pair since I know I'm rolling the dice if anything happens to them outside the window Amazon will allow me to return them (30 or 60 days I think). It's one of those classic cases where a really great product could be the best solution in the market, if the company would just provide the most basic support.Instead, they just roll the dice on it being just good enough to extract as much profit as possible before the market passes them by.--------I bought these back in August 2019 and really loved them. They finally died in September 2022 as I beat the cable to death, shoving it in my pocket too many times.I thought I'd go find something better since it had been 3 years.I tried the Sennheiser AMBEO earbuds and wanted to love them. They had some cool tech that would let me go from cancelling all the surrounding noise, to letting it all through (transparent mode). The biggest problem I had with them was the control box was huge on it and looked like a medic-alert necklace. They also were very light on bass.I kept looking for something to compete with the RAYZ, but nothing out there had all the features they had.So, back to the RAYZ I went. And they're even better than my original pair. The feature I don't think my previous pair had was music pausing when I take them out and automatic restart when I put them back in my ears.Every little feature is just so well thought out on these. The in-line charging port to charge them while using them is probably my favorite. It's so practical. The noise cancelling is fantastic. The mic works great. And the audio quality is as good as I could hope for a $60 pair of earbuds. If I were being picky, they could be a little brighter on the top end, but I just like bright, crisp highs in my speakers. They're not going to rival in-ear monitors that are $200+.This does mean that they're not fatiguing at all, so they are comfortable to wear all day.

Fantastic sound quality, with some hiccups
I returned countless other earbuds, hopelessly dissatisfied with sound quality. These sound beautiful even without EQ personalization. Rich and articulate throughout the spectrum. However, they don’t offer as much volume as I’d like, and they seem to self-level in real time, which is annoying. For instance, if the verse of a song is quiet and leads to a significantly louder chorus, there will be an audible drop in volume as soon as louder moments occur. it takes me out of the moment. I have turned off the volume cap feature in the app, but these ear buds seem to have a mind of their own. Too smart for their own good, I say.

Great Product, Dead After 1 Year
Great sound quality and mic quality. Comfortable noise cancellation. However, it quickly died after just 1 year of use. I suspect the lighting connector is the faulty component, as the earbud will no longer work after being plugged in. And a prompt of “unsupported accessory” shows up each time. The fact that it gave so quickly is unbelievable for product at this price point.
