Colors only the paper, nothing else.
My 2 year old loves these books. He loves to color and I love the fact that he can color only the paper and not the couch or furniture. It keeps him busy for a while so I can do some cleaning around the house.

Never fly without a Magic Ink book!
We never fly without Magic Ink books! Our 2yo, 3yo, and 4yo all love them. No real ink to mark up our belongings or the plane, and only one, large marker to keep track of. The younger kids just color the pictures (or scribble), and our older kids actually work on the activities.

Great Stocking Stuffer 🎅
Lots of fun for little ones! Littles love to see the pictures appear before their eyes. This is perfect for all ages!

Good for trips!
These are so good for longish trips, and they don't make a mess. Our 5 year old almost obsessively has to finish the entire book in one sitting, any our 2 year old enjoys them to. The only con is because it has a built-in plastic holder for the marker it makes it harder to keep open as they are coloring.

Great books!
These books are not only better than those Magic Pen books, but more educational and colorful! Excellent!

Marker was dried out
Unfortunately, the marker that came with this was mostly dried out and only worked through half of the book. My little guy was disappointed. :(
