KantoH1 Universal Headphone Stand with Curved Silicone Padding, Black

I had been looking for some good looking headphone stands but I didn't feel like spending as much money on a headphone stand as my actual headphones. I came across these while going through the Kanto Amazon store and was surprised to see Kanto made these and some other type of stands. I got one in black and one in white, as I have 2 headphones that I wanted to always have on my desk, a black one (Philips SHP9500) and a white one (Razer Kraken v2 mercury). The color of the stand matches the headphones perfectly and the sturdy metal construction make these hard to tip over if nudged. The rubber base underneath the stand and where your headband would go is an added bonus. So far, I have not seen any depressions on either headbands. The wide base also acts like a wire holder. For the price, you can't go wrong. And since Kanto a Canadian company, I'm glad I can support a Canadian business instead of oversees brands.

The Kanto H1 headphone stand is made exceptionally well. Feels sturdy and high quality. The black steel construction looks very sleek. The stand comes in one piece. The headband of the headphones rest on a silicone padding. The silicone padding has the Kanto logo. The logo is also molded into the steel at the back of the headphone stand. I don't see this headphone stand giving you any problems unless your headphones are made of solid uranium. My headphones are on the heavier end of the spectrum at 500 grams, irrelevant to the likes of this headphone stand.Given the price I would only recommend this headphone stand if you want a high quality stand to match your headphones, or match your desktop aesthetics. Its function is to hold your headphones, a function you can easily find at a lower price point. Overall you get what you pay for, and in this case you get a high quality, very strong and aesthetically pleasing headphone stand.

I expected this to be cheap and flimsy feeling, with the photos advertising it, being photoshopped, and making it looks nicer than it is.... I was wrong. These stands are hefty, and really solid looking. The weight is exactly what you want, so it doesn't shift around or tip over when you take your headphones off it or put them back on.Just overall good quality, and really classy looking. I use it to show off my nicer planar headphones.

If you are willing to pay this much for a headphone stand like I did, you'll definitely be pleased. The incredible build quality and overall heft of it will compliment almost any pair of headphones that you put on it. The heavy-ish base and stand means that it won't easily tip over or move around as much compared to cheaper stands, which is perfect when you're constantly using and putting back your headphones and you want the stand to stay in one spot. The silicon part where your headphones go is pretty soft and it for pricey headphones like mine where I have to be VERY cautious as to not damage the leather and metal, this is very much appreciated. Overall, you get what you pay, and what you get is a really damn good headphone stand.
