These auto shades are very easy to set up and are working well. They were out of the box and set up in just minutes. My car already has tint, but these shades have added extra shade and cooling from the sun. The suction cups work well and have been holding in place great with no issues. Great value for the price paid - they appear well made and will last.

I really like that you can pull the shade down when it’s needed and retract it back up when it’s not. I installed it by hanging it over the window, and it does not seem to cause any problems with the window being properly rolled back up and sealing. I don’t feel or hear air coming in and have driven in rain without water coming inside. Since I did not use the suction cups to hang the shade, I don’t have much to say about them. I did use the one to hold the bottom of the shade in place, and it has popped out of place at least once, but that wasn’t really a big deal since the shade is still down.

First off, these shades work very well to keep the sun out of the face of my son while he's in his car seat. Second, they work very well whether they roll upward or downward. Because my truck's rear window is already somewhat short, it made more sense to mount this shade at the bottom of the window and then draw it upward than it did the traditional way. The provided suction cup keeps the window shade pulled up just as well as it does down. The only small criticism that I have is with the rod that supports the hook end of the shade. It's somewhat weak and bends easily when little hands get hold of it. I'm sure it will break eventually, but for now it seems to be holding up.

One worked great, blocks direct sun, easy to pull down and retract. The other didn’t retract, and part of the clip-in for one of the suction cups on the same shade also cracked right off. For installation, even with cleaning the door really well, the Velcro pad provided didn’t stick to the door for long (used one I had around the house and it is fine.) Overall, not awful for the price point, and luckily one working shade was all I needed anyway.

I bought this product in order to keep the sun out of my rear-facing toddler's eyes in the back seat. First of all, I should have looked more carefully at the product design before purchasing because I was disappointed to find out that the way this screen fastens to the window at the bottom, when pulled down, is by velcro-ing to a little sticky square that is placed on the window. Unfortunately, the design is such that the velcro is stronger than the sticky substance adhering the square backing to the window... and so when the tab is pulled to pull apart the velcro and retract the screen, the entire sticky square pulls off. I don't know if this is just because I live in a hot climate in Texas or if other people have that problem too. Secondly, even if suctioned to the very top of the window, the suction cups still cause a gap between the top of the screen and the top of the window. So even when the product was pulled down, there was no way to keep the sun from shining in his eyes over the TOP of the screen, if the sun was at the right angle. Finally, after using this product for a month and a half now, the suction cups began to fail to work. And now even if I moisten the suction cups a bit, they fail to stay on the window entirely. The product is now so entirely useless that I am using a towel instead.
