Was very happy with the purchase but on the third use the wire had jammed and wont retract or pull out any further which makes it totally unusable. So disappointing.

I NEEDED A RETRACTABLE WASHING LINE, FOR OUR SHARED COMMUNAL GARDEN, AS OUR ROTARY LINE RUSTED AWAY.I READ THE REVIEWS AND PURCHASED THIS ONE, ESPECIALLY AS THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I WAS EXTREMELY SHOCKED AT HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTAL, ( I DID USE LARGER WOOD SCREWS, AS IT WAS SCREWED INTO A SOLID WOODEN POST ).IT IS FANTASTIC TOO FOR ALL WHO USE IT, AS I CAN LOWER IT DOWN, FOR MY ELDERLY NEIGHBOUR, AND THEN EVERYONE ELSE, CAN ADJUST IT TO THEIR HEIGHT. I USE IT WITH A METAL EXTENDABLE PROP, WHICH I ALSO PURCHASED FROM AMAZON. I CERTAINLY WOULDN'T GO BACK TO A ROTARY LINE AGAIN.
