Forthiq knee massager
I have recently had a bad flare up with my knees, I have had osteoarthritis for 8 years. My gp recently said that he would refer me for a double knee replacement, but only being 56, I want to hold that off for as long as I can. I had resorted to using a rollator Walker for the last 3 weeks on holiday to help me ease the pressure off of them which it did, I still had swelling when not using the rollator. I the bought the Forthiq infra red heated knee massager a week ago and found it quick & comfortable to use. 10 minutes on each knee in the morning and again before bed and it has kept me going much more than I thought it would. I have even been able to comfortably cycle on my trike for 5 miles a few days ago. It has helped me tremendously, My inflammation has reduced to nothing, I am still walking with a stick outside the home, but, the pain has reduced to a twinge every now an then. I’m sleeping much better and my neuropathy in my thighs has eased. I’m just taking a couple of paracetamol if necessary but not everyday. My knees have not been clicking and popping when I bend them like they have for years after using the heated massager, it must be circulating the blood supply well. My husband has even put it on his shoulder and it has given him relief from his shoulder strain. The only downside to this massager is that the straps need to be about 3 inches longer, I had to use the Velcro from my patella knee support straps as extensions and they work really well to make if a good fit for me. This product has worked extremely well for me and the relief it has given me has been worth every penny spent on it.

Good little gadget!
I decided to give my review a month after purchasing the item so I can give an honest review. I have been going to the gym the past 24 years, have vitamin D deficiency so the past years have been getting aches and pains in my knees. I saw this item and read reviews and decided to give it a try as it was a 30 day refund. I have been using this item 3 times a day as they recommended. It is a 10 min massage on each knee its timed to switch off after 10 mins. So in total both my knees get an hour massage every day. The heat and vibratation feels good whilst massaging. So I do find the item good as I do feel at times my knees feel lighter but it hasn’t got rid of the pain. The downfall is you have to charge it every 2 days for 6hrs approx. But I have decided to keep it as I think there is a bit of a difference in my knees.

Almost instant pain relief
Easy to fit and set up. Appears to be helping with regard to immediate pain relief and subsequent mobility. If anything it is not as quiet as one would want especially when sitting there watching tv. That aside it certainly does relieve discomfort

a considered purchase
I decided to buy after thinking about a considered purchase when your budget is limited, but the choice was have pain not buying or go for it & buy it & reduce the pain it was then a easy choice. glad i did it is no miracle cure i will say but does help with my daily life, easy to use & control i set it to suit me then i sit back watch a movie while it works on my knee for 10 mins, a huge help i didnt use the full heat part found was to hot but you will find your own levels,

Easy to use but the jury is out
Only used for a couple of weeks. Not really sure whether it has made any difference. It’s certainly not a miracle cure or silver bullet. My knees are so bad that anything is worth trying. Not sure what other people’s problem is with the length of the straps, they seem adequate to me and I have large legs. The Velcro could be a little stronger though.

FORTHiQ Cordless Knee Massager,
Brilliant, wished I'd bought this sooner. Have been troubled with fluid on the knee and pain, which has been stopping from walking easily and keeping me awake. Was unsure whether to buy but was desperate for something to help. On the very first occassion I used it, the swelling around my knee went down and the muscular pain reduced in intensity, making it much more comfortable. The massager, though sucessful, for me at least it is not a cure because of my condition, but definitely helped with the symptoms. I would definitely recommend it for others. Be careful to fully read the information to check it is safe for you to use before you buy.

Save your money......
Firstly, on opening the box, the unit looks like part of a Star Wars Stormtrooper has broken off.The strap and velcro fastening is too short to fit around my arthritic knee. I thought therefore having to hold it in place might be of more benefit. Wrong. This doesn't generate enough heat or vibration in massage mode and after the pre-programmed 10 minute session is up, all you're left with is a slightly red circle. The same result can be achieved by massaging in Bio-Freeze and at a fiver a tube is a no-brainer compared to this over-priced rubbish.

knee pain
This does relieve pain for a short time. Velcro doesn't stick very well
