Small amp. Big sound. Flexible control. Perfect for my need.
This tiny amplifier does exactly what I need and has a true 2.1 configuration and plenty of power so I felt compelled to write a long review on this unit. I hope it helps.I plugged in three different 2-way bookshelf speaker pairs - Boston Acoustic CR6s (8 ohm), Yamaha ES-E55s (6 ohm), and Bose Double Cubes (4-8 ohm) - plus three different 3 ohm 8" passive subs - Sony SS-WSB103, Samsung PS-CW0, and Samsung PS-FW102 (4") (side note: all subs were thrift store buys) - and all made good sound via iPhone thru the quickly connected Bluetooth signal. I did not try the component piece since my use is Bluetooth.Just for kicks, I doubled up the 2-way pairs (4 speakers out of the top row) and doubled up the subs (2 subs out of the bottom row) and the amplifier powered everything just fine. I ran the various configurations for about 2 hours at thumping volume with folk, rock, hip hop, and metal and all sounded great. I settled on the best sound for me (it's all subjective) with the Bostons and Sony. Don't let the 30 watts per channel make you believe it will be too small or not powerful enough. I'm betting a mid size or maybe full size pair of speakers would sound good too.A big pro, as noted, is the 2.1. The sub channel is a true sub channel and not a "B" pair of speakers (I plugged in a pair of the 2-ways to the sub ports and it wasn't right at all). Use only a sub in the sub ports. A huge pro, maybe the best part of this amp, is the sub has it's own volume control so you can thump or just allow subtle fuller lows.Lastly, the amp did not get hot...at all. You can put it anywhere...except...the amp doesn't have a remote control so it's manual on/off and manual volume, sub volume, treble, and bass control. Place it within reach. That's mostly fine with an iPhone controlling volume but it should still be shut off. A remote would have made it 6 Stars for me.With every rating, I add the caveat it's only been out of the box for a couple of days and ran a few short hours. I have faith it will last and/or Kinter will make it right if it doesn't.

Amazing Sound Quality and Features! Love it!!!
I couldn’t be happier with this small amp! The sound quality is great. No noise at all and the Bluetooth connections are easy to set up and reliable. I’ve used it almost daily for a couple of weeks with no issues. The best feature for me is the high level out for subwoofers. I am able to bi-wire my speakers so that the woofers are driven by the sub out and the other wires go to mids+tweeters. So, instead of using bass/treble knobs (which work fine anyway), I have much more control with the separate volume for subwoofers. I think this amp has been very well thought out and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the amp.

Kinter K3-118-2.1
Long ago I gave away all my high end stereo equipment, but retained all my LPs from the ‘70s. Recently I bought a package with a powered turntable and bookshelf speakers. Unfortunately, the powered turntable had no tone adjustments. It sounds OK but was missing bottom end bass and some high end clarity. So I decided to invest $40 and buy the Kinter K3-118-2.1 amp…I was looking for something small and simple to operate. Once hooked up, which took all of. 5 minutes, I could not believe the improvement in sound I was hearing. The Kinter produced excellent bottom end and clear high end and mids. I couldn’t be happier with the results from my small investment. Recently, I added a Dayton sub which the Kinter supports with a separate sub volume control. What a big improvement to bottom end producing full tone when levels are dialed in on the Kinter amp.

Awesome amplifier that will surprise you!
I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about this amplifier, then I set it up. I am currently using this as a custom solution for a desktop sound system. I am using a Sony 3.1 desktop bookshelf speaker system with a Sony 10 inch woofer and it sounds amazing. To get the center channel, I bridged left and right speaker outputs (one positive, one negative) to the center channel speaker. This amp is very stable at 4 ohm loads, so bridging two 8ohm speakers with a third in the middle leaves a 4ohm load on the front channel which does not even cause heating or clipping even at the ridiculous volumes I enjoy. Also, having the dedicated passive subwoofer output is awesome, it even has its' own volume control so you can finitely dial-in the right amount of bass for your setup. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this amp. It may look small, but it really delivers in desktop or bookshelf applications.I have used this to drive two Paradigm 9se 4ohm tower speakers as well, and again, this little amp drives those huge tower speakers with no struggle.Bluetooth works well, and the line-in features are either RCA inputs or the standard headphone-type input, which is awesome if you are running linbe-out from your PC or laptop.I highly recommend!

Impressive Little Amp That Packs a Punch!
I was super eager to hook this up and see how it performs with my high-end speakers. Right out of the box, I was impressed—it comes with a power supply (nice touch), and the all-metal construction is solid with excellent craftsmanship—no rough edges, just a clean, well-finished design.Once powered up, it connected to my phone instantly. Now, let’s talk about the sound… AMAZING! This little guy delivers serious power and didn’t disappoint. I love that it includes treble, bass, and a separate subwoofer volume control. The one thing missing? A subwoofer frequency adjustment. Not sure why the manufacturer skipped that, because if they had included it, this would have been the perfect amplifier. As an audiophile, I’m seriously impressed. Overall, it’s an excellent amp with fantastic performance!

Works great
Update: Revising original review. Thought this failed after about a year, but it was the signal converter. This is still working great 1 year 3 mos later.
