I have some of their products, and I like what I have. However, I still use stuff from other brands, like Strike Industries and BCM when considering furniture. That said, this is currently my favorite Ar-15 stock. I was partial to A2 stocks, I detest the collapsible ones. I'd stick them in one spot and leave them there anyways, so why deal with rattling. However, I'm a short person (5'4") and I finally learned that the A2 stock was really just too long for me, it was always uncomfortable, but I didn't know better. So I tried this Magpul fixed carbine stock, and boy it fit me perfectly. Its durable and locks up very well. Gives me the same firm rock solid feel as the A2 stocks did, but with a length. and also price point, that is agreeable to me. Looks good on the rifles as well. For the money it cannot be beat, less than $40 for a great and functional piece of kit that will outlast me... I'm in. While I still plan on trying an A1 stock at some point, for the time being these are making onto all of my rifles. My only complaint is Magpul's failure to include even one QD cup with this stock, and then they have the nerve to charge $15-$20 for one QD cup when you may even need two. Yeah, I got a little miffed when I figured that out. But whatever, everyone wants a buck, Magpul is no different. I am just thankful that a reputable company that makes high quality products made the perfect stock for me. Review: Solid Stock. - This is a Rock solid upgrade to my Platform and I 100% prefer this fixed version over the adjustable 6 position Stock. The length of pull was a tiny bit short but I grabbed a Magpul recoil Pad and now it’s perfect every single time I raise the Rifle and Optics alignment is perfect. I also added the Magpul Cheek Riser with a small piece of 3M Velcro underneath it stays put perfectly. I don’t think the Riser was made for these but I snapped it off my other Magpul Stock to just see and BAM snapped right on. Soon as you do it becomes a short barrel rifle though. If you don't have the tax stamp its 20 years in federal prison. I would take that arm brace off and go to the drug store and get some black cane feet. **Q: could i possibly put this on an hk 416 airsoft gun?** A: It slides over the buffer tube. If your airsoft rifle has a tube sticking out after you remove the existing stock and if it's the same diameter as a MIL-SPEC tube it might work. This stock comes with a extra piece that gives you two options of mounting. It fits against the lock plate. Take a measurement of your tube first before ordering. **Q: will this stock fit a noveske pistol?** A: Sliding a stock on a pistol can land you in a federal prison for 20 years. Yes it will fit. But as soon as it's applied it becomes a SBR, a class 3 firearm. Vertical foregrips are illegal too on pistols so get you a Magpul afg. **Q: Will this fit utas 9?** A: Looks like it needs an adapter to fit a AR stock. Pistol variants are meant to be stockless.
