I purchased this ointment a few days after starting radiation treatment for breast cancer. I started with a drugstore ointment that was highly recommended but did not like that the petroleum-based products are not absorbed well. That product also did not do anything for the post-treatment redness and sunburn sensation on the skin.I did some research and calendula has been found to be effective in treating radiation burns (which is basically what is happening to the skin every time you get a treatment). All other ingredients are also known skin remedies. This ointment was far more effective at soothing post treatment redness, itching, and burning. My radiation oncologist and nurse both asked what I was using that is working so well, so I passed the info and link onto them and they are interested in informing other patients about this option! I have normal, non-sensitive skin and I am not allergic to any if the ingredients. A little goes a long way and it absorbs nicely. I just ordered my 2nd jar.

This works great for so many things. Sunburn, minor burns, even chaffing and rashes.

I was quite happily surprised to find this ~ after long last. However, I would have preferred that I had received more for my money. I have been used to a larger container for much less money.

Had terrible chemical burns from Nair in places it shouldn’t be. Worst pain of my life. Couldn’t get it to heal up and it started spreading. Went and got antibiotics and steroids for it. I started those a few days before I got this. And my burns started clearing up immediately. After A MONTH of nothing working, this worked IMMEDIATELY. BUY. Idc about the price. It was a Godsend.

I have very sensitive skin, after using a new facial moisturizer my eyelids were badly burned. They were very painful, super sensitive to touch. I used this ointment and they were healed within 2 days! It’s a wonderful product, I will always have this on hand.

I am using for help with breast radiation burning. I carry it in my handbag to use after each treatment, every day. Smells clean, goes on smoothly. Immediately melts on breast and does absorb leaving no greasy mess. This is not a lotion but a salve. I also used on a finger that I burned and it seemed to help healing.I will buy more as I need it.
