I bought this book as Lee is a good friend of mine and I wanted to support him.It is normally a genre I shy away from as it's not really my thing.As I know Lee to be a good writer,I thought I'd give it a go anyway as it'll definitely be well written,and as I started I realised it was a really interesting story,and John,the guy who's story it's telling, certainly has some interesting and funny tales to tell.Based on his life and career working on the doors of some pretty rough establishments,as well as minding celebrities,and collecting some debts along the way.He spent a good portion of his time working alongside the well known hardman Lenny McLean,as well as 'Strongman' winner,Al Crossley,who is a pretty interesting fella himself.All the tales are from a world where rough justice and old fashioned values are the order of the day,and you certainly wouldn't wanna cross these guys if you had any sense.All in all a good read,if this is the sort of thing your intestested in..or even if it isn't,I can guarantee you'll thoroughly enjoy it,but don't take my word for it,buy it and give it a go...otherwise we'll be sending the boys round !!

I found the various stories in the book great with plenty of humour.John talks about his life as a doorman and debt collecting alongside McClean.Both 'hardmen' have appeared in a guy ritchie movie as well.The book was so good i could not put it down.

Fantastic read...grips from the first page to the last...John the neck houchin is the real deal..a very hard man...this book by Lee wortley and Anthony thomas is brilliant..10/10 🥇🏆⭐
