Well, after pulling my hair out, throwing a tantrum, and sulking for days I can now confirm there is absolutely nothing wrong with these items. Could I figure out how to change the voltage? Am I an eejit? No and yes are the answers to those two questions. I tried every combination of fiddling with that soldering iron you could imagine (apart from the right one obviously). So, for any more eejit's out there, here's how you do it. The graph on the back is simply a graph to show you how to alter it for the voltage required. Pick which one you want and then turn it over to the front. Take your soldering iron (very fine tip) and alter the tiny blobs of solder on the front "A" and "B" to the corresponding voltage you want shown on the back. Job's a gud'un. In fact they are so good I have ordered some more.

Initially I was a bit confused like other here as it comes without any instructions, but then realised that the voltage is changed by breaking the connections marked with A and B on the board accordingly to the diagram on the back. Comes set up to output 12V.

The official pictures show a nice diagram of how to obtain the different voltages, and they show blobs of solder to remove on the board to achieve these voltages. This is no longer the case.On the items I received, the diagrams on the back are badly printed and of no use, and there are no blobs of solder to remove on the board. After spending some time trying and failing to add blobs of solder to A and B, I realised that there are now tiny chips making the A and B connections, these need to be removed with a soldering iron which was much easier.Quiescent current by default seemed to be about 1.3mA, however you can disable the onboard led by removing another connection in the same way as A and B. This drops the quiescent current to more like 0.13mA

Used to convert dim old tungsten 6v torch to 2W 12v LED. Worked brilliantly. Very easy to use and small so fitted easily. Very steady 12.1V output. Torch much brighter. Tempted to try a 5W LED. Looking forward to figuring out projects with remaning 4.

I only just got around to using these to convert 9V to 12C. First one worked briefly, but when I added a small load, the output dropped to 8V. I checked the configuration links and they were all set to 12V output, as specified. Tried the other 4, and they would only give an output the reflected the input voltage. Waste of money.

Seems a good unit but comes with no instructions, I can’t figure out how to change the voltage output? I can see the table on the back with the A/B options but can’t see what I’m supposed to do?! Crazy no instructions or images ?? Any help?

Comme indiqué dans un message précédent, il ne faut plus faire de pont de soudure mais démonter des résistances SMT de 0 Ohm. Attention donc, car la tension de sortie par défaut n'est plus la même et est la tension maxi. Mieux vaut vérifier avec un voltmètre avant de brancher la charge.NB: il y a aussi une résistance 0 Ohm en série avec la LED témoin, on peut l'enlever pour réduire la consommation minimale.

Funktioniert soweit. Große Lasten habe ich allerdings nicht angeschlossen.

Prima cosa: mi garantiscono che con l'uscita a 12 Volt, offre 0.5 Ampere? Magari! con soli 0.2A, l'uscita crolla a 4 Volt, cioè guadagno Zero.Secondo: saldando i "pad" molto in teoria, scegliete le uscite di 5,8,9. Ma, … non sono saldbili, perché sembrano di vernice e non metallo. Dubbi? prendete un tester, non contattano ne con se stessi ne con nulla. Peccato, ci speravo...
