The Autel 808s was a great purchase. I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 diesel that was giving me the message that my diesel exhaust fluid quality is low and started to limit my speed. The auto shop wanted to charge me $400-$500 just to diagnose it. I decided to buy the Autel instead and I was able to figure out my issues. It helped me figure out the code and gave me my nox sensor readings while I was driving where I saw that my downstream sensor was giving erratic readings. I am working on replacing that sensor now and hopefully it will work. I was also able to use the Autel to run a diesel exhaust fluid quality test and it passed and cleared the previous code and I am no longer speed limited. While I may get the message again since the nox sensor is giving me inaccurate readings, I at least know that I can run tests to get it out of limp mode without having to take it to the auto shop. The Autel scanner has already saved me hundreds of dollars and has paid for itself.I was also getting a code for a fuel injector issue. The dealer I took it to would only tell me that the code was for injector #5 and they did not give me any other helpful information. I paid $200 for them to just read a code. I was able to use the Autel to view my fuel balance rates and determined that the injector I was getting the code for was a little out of spec but nothing to be too worried about yet.I am very satisfied with my purchase and I feel so much better that I no longer have to rely on auto shops to give me information on my truck.

Ive been a mechanic for 6 years, three out of eight mechanics at my shop own this and use it day in and day out on shop equipment and side jobs. Worth every penny! I was sold after I saw the price difference between this and the Snap-On scan tool. Perfect tool for the backyard mechanic or professional who wants something easy to use, simple to navigate. Great for monitoring live date and stores codes to perform diagnostics. Just an absolute dream to operate and super functional!

Unlike Thinkcar, this not only fixed my problem that that other scanner caused, but worked flawlessly. A lot more money but worth every penny. It is a high level function to re-calibrate the airmatic suspension on Mercedes Benz. I did it with ease.

So far so good. Did the break bleed process that I bought it for on my 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500hd. Lots of options. Only does bi-directional with factory loaded programs. Does do duramax fuel injector code programming (couldn't red balance rates, not sure if i was in the right spot) brake bleed with abs modual, battery and alternator function.2016 Chevy duramax.

Prior to my purchase, I reviewed this device functional abilities and as advertised in the description see below and following the instructions to the T and calling the manufacturer technical support it does not meet the specification. When tried to do the serves the device gets Service not supportedr,ineffective format. It's alot of scan tool for the money. Many useful functions. Doesn't take long to learn the operating system. Well build unit. Very pleased with my purchase. Will definitely look to Autel in the future for other tools.

This scanner does it all, I am a diyer and I bought this on a whim. You do need to pay an annual service fee to access all of the features, but it has saved me thousands in mechanic bills.

Unit worked great.It automatically updated the software when I powered it up.Worked perfectly on my Lexus GS350 to find the bad wheel speed sensor.
