ProClean Aqua In-Out water change set

I have a 250 litre aquarium and with over 30 cichlids ( they’ve been breeding) so I do a partial water change once a week. This arrived today and I tried it out and I definitely recommend it to anyone with a large aquarium. It’s so easy and quick. When draining the aquarium, I found you only have to turn the water tap on briefly to get the siphon action going and after you can turn the tap off. Every fish keeper should have one of these!

You will go through 1 of these every 6 months. I am on my 5th. They are amazing when working but break all the time. They split down the back of the joint.

It was easy to set up, filling a breeze but though I tried on various outlets even with the taps wide open it couldn't summon enough suction power to draw water from my aquarium. I thought I had found a bargain as this was used very good on amazon warehouse but I've realised there are lots on there. So, lots of returns and I suspect for the same reason. Maybe water pressure varies geographically hence the 5 star reviews.

I bought this not really knowing what to expect, the reviews are pretty mixed and having so many from Amazon Warehouse available, I bought it hoping for the best. After watching a couple of videos online, I had a basic grasp of how to use the item but if you follow the step guide on the box, you’ll get by just fine. If the flow of water from the tank is slow, turn on your attached water flow more and it’ll speed up. Good ol physics. Once I set up the item, I hooked it to my 120l tank and opened both valves and turned on the kitchen tap. I was blown away how quickly it was pulling water from the tank, about 8 minutes to empty 75% of the tank. Then all you do is close the valve on the kitchen end, and clean water is pouring into the tank to refill! This took my 10 bucket trips down to zero and I did it all whilst playing with the dog. I will use this item for water changes only and continue to use my original gravel vacuum for deep cleaning. Great product, insane price if you Amazon Warehouse it!

If like me you have realised that Python's arent available in the UK and wouldnt fit our taps anyway.. I can confirm that this product is exactly what youre looking for. I can only imagine how laborious my water changes would be without this thing... I will never go without one now. Lots of different tap fittings included.
