Strong lanyard, has two clips that allow it to pull apart. The badge can be unclipped if needed and the entire lanyard can unclip aswell. Colors are vibrant, good quality.

I know these are safer to use in an environment where they may get caught on something or yanked on by others…but….I guess I didn’t notice when I ordered it. Looks fantastic and the rubber do-dad on it is very nice. This will be my backup lanyard if I ever lose the Academy one I also picked up.

I bought two other Star Trek lanyards for work and in different colors to try to match my different scrubs for my ID badge. This one I wear with my navy blue scrubs and it's perfect. The class is easy to open and close. And the soft blue rubber Star Trek insignia decal that comes with it is an awesome touch. And is a potential conversation starter with fellow sci-fi Geeks like myself that not only left Star Trek and other sci-fi stuff and that includes segwaying into potentially Star Wars. But it's durable and comfortable and the Locking clasp is easy to open and close to either take off the lanyard over your head or to disconnect it and reconnect it. Needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few and the many wants you to buy this now.

I bought this specifically for my job, as they require a breakaway lanyard. And I also love Star Trek. Came exactly how it showed, minus the collectable sticker, but other than that, it serves its purpose for holding my badge in place and giving me a conversation starter too.

I got this to wear on a cruise. The quality is great, and it's star trek. I got a few vulcan salutes walking around the cruise ship. Two thumbs up!

I bought two of these in different colors. They're both awesome! I love the silky feel of the thick ribbon from which they are constructed. The entire lanyard feels substantial, as if it'll last a really long time and do a good job for us. Most importantly, this lanyard has the safety release clasp. A lot of the less expensive lanyards that i considered buying had no safety release at all. Unsuitable for a child ... or for anyone, really. I was also surprised that it came with a card sleeve ... i was able to tuck my work RFID card in it without using the hole punch ... didn't have to damage the card. Even the little soft vinyl charm is nice. Excellent quality for the price.
