Useful and good size

Only arrived today but seems weighty and sturdy enough. For only £11.77 it appears to be a real bargain - plus the usual free prompt Prime delivery.

Very sturdy. OK for home DIY project. Only neg is that the clamps to hold objects are a bit short. Also no rubber covering so can damage wood when clamp tightened.

Great little vice

if you dont have a DIY work space but you have a small crafty project where you need to cut or shape a small wood or metal item, this vice can be fixed to your desk or dining table for the matter in hand

Ideal for light work jobs such as filing and in conjunction with a tap and die kit. Will obviously brake if used for more demanding projects.

You need a vice to be strong but ironically the main body is made of a poor quality cast iron it appears (and/or suffers from a weak design) and seems to have the consistency and strength of a dried biscuit in my humble opinion.It voluntarily ruptured in a catastrophic way the very first time I slightly tightened down on it (see image).Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this cheap rubbish. I will be going for a named brand as a replacement.And the seller is even charging me for the displeasure of returning this joke item, which is a real kick in the teeth.

We were surprised by how small it is as we bought some small soft jaws for it.. they are about 2 inches too bigBut the you don't need a massive vice... Soo it good enough to use in the house.Overall we are happy
