Not very sturdy
Had to return as the rotors didn't go round

Sturdier than looks as crashes prove 😁
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my daughter but my husband has spent more time playing with it 😂.This arrives boxed and you receive helicopter 🚁 and 1 replacement rotor blade with charger and a remote controller. The controller is as large as helicopter? which I found quite strange but my husband and daughter say it’s good size to hold and reach all controls. The controller takes 6AA batteries which aren’t included and as was lot of impatience to try I’d recommend you purchase batteries same time. The helicopter is charged via usb charger. The controls are very delicate and it took a bit of practice and a lot of crashes to get hang of it, one positive to this is we learnt the helicopter is a lot more sturdy than it looks as it had many collisions with wall, roof and snake tank unscathed. It’s really a fun toy and once get used to and master controls the little helicopter is fun to fly and very responsive to remote.A few negatives are that a full charge on helicopter only gives around 10min flying time but it does charge quickly and having never purchased anything similar I researched a little on similar items and this does seem to be on expensive side. This is a fun item though and seems really well made, I now have a husband and daughter look up remote helicopters and planes ✈️ that can be used outside and the prices take a steep jump when move into outdoor models, so just be aware it’s quite addictive 😊.

Too difficult to control and the RC feels cheap.
The media could not be loaded. This RC helicopter comes in a smart box and would look great as a gift. The helicopter itself needs charging via a usb cable, the remote control needs 6 AAA batteries not provided so that’s an added cost to consider. The look of this set is very ‘plastic’, the helicopter looks good but the remote control feels cheap. In the description there are photos of the controller and it’s looks like it has a digital panel, it doesn’t it’s just a sticker which is disappointing when it costs £44.99 (April ‘21).It wasn’t easy getting it to fly but eventually I managed it. It is so hard to control I crashed it every time. It’s really powerful so be careful if you are using it around young children. I decided to admit defeat and pass the flying task over to my husband who thought he’d manage it easy....no he crashed it worse than me ha! In the end we gave up as it was so unpredictable and difficult.I think if you are experienced you will enjoy this helicopter but if you are a beginner I don’t think this is for you, it’s far too difficult to fly. I expected better quality for the price finding it too plastic and cheap feeling. I personally would not purchase again and do not recommend it to other amateurs there must be easier ones out there.

Addictive piece, unexpectedly small
I find this one a very addictive toy, I've spent a lot of time with it!The box comes quite sturdy, can be used even after unpacking, in the box there's the helicopter, a spare rotor blade and the remote control. The helicopter itself came unexpectedly small in my opinion,a really tiny one even if though in the internet it looks bigger somehow. Nevertheless,it's nicely designed, looking cool with that front light. The remote is quite big but still comfortable to handle and use. Batteries life for both helicopter and remote is very good, in my opinion, both devices are saving the energy very well.I find this helicopter a bit harder to learn how to handle correctly, reading the manual is not enough and only with time it comes better.Don't use it indoors, all your walls will be scratched by this small s#it and you don't want it, I really mean it.I strongly recommend to use it outdoors. It's quite powerful and used inappropriately can harm. The price might be lower, that's for sure.

Fun & easy to get flying
This has either deliberate or subconscious references to the 80s TV show air wolf which is why it probably appeals to me.I does look very plasticy and a bit cheap but it does seem to be more sturdy than its appearance infersI've not played with it that much but its survived a fair few substantial impacts. The one key take off and landing is amazing - I've only had a few similar helicopters to this and 90% of the frustration is trying to get it to take off without smacking into an object immediately - this overcomes its markedly but do make sure you take off in a good clear space. The one key landing again is good but has been a bit more mixed for me but the best success has been getting the the helicopter basically over me, hitting land and then stepping back.Note though that it is very light and is prone to being taken by the wind so don't do the landing from very high up as I've found the landing then becomes a crash landingHaven't tried the range yet really as only tried from the back gardenThe charge time is annoying though as only 10 minutes play is very limiting but the battery does need to be light so its understandable

Great Fun
My first impression when I received this 'Remote Control Helicopter' was that it looked delicate but thankfully a lot more sturdier than it looks. I have crashed it a few times since first trying it and it has remained in one piece.I am completely new to this type of thing so it was a learning process and a lot of fun along the way.I found it quite easy to master and would therefore think it was suitable for beginners like me. You can use a single button if preferred for take off and this certainly makes it a lot easier to control. My one gripe is that you get under 10 minutes flying time for a full 40 minute charge, not sure how that compares to other similar products but a lot of sitting around.
