I used this widget to multiplex signals from my cable STB, Blu-ray and gaming console into one (and then split it into 2 to send the signals to either my TV or projector). It comes with a tiny remote and works as advertised. I had some glitches initially but they went away after I disabled automatic SmartLink activation on my STB and TV. 3 weeks with no trouble!

There isn't much I can say that wouldn't be a repeat of the product description. So I'll just keep it simple: it works, it's easy to use, and that's all I can ask for.

It fixed the problem I was having with drop outs with an older splutter when I added Amazon Fire to my system. The other inputs worked fine with the older splitter (Dish, BD player, Xfinity) but for some reason I was having issues with Fire on the TV on the end of a 50 foot HDMI cable. For what ever reason, this one has worked great from the "get go".

Performs as described. No problems splitting hdmi signal. Did not solve unique problem purchased as an optional repair. Dish VIP722 DVR reboots when connected to Samsung 55 inch UHD TV. Sometimes randomly, definitely if TV is turned on first. Samsung and Dish tech support unable to provide helpful assistance. Splitter purchased to provide isolation between DVR and TV. Did not so. BUT did provide clear clean signal from output ports when connected to DVR which was providing 1080i signal. Not tested with full 4k signal.From all indications, good product to deliver same signal to two devices. Based on above experience. I would recommend.

Great device. I am using this as part of a setup for a Hyperion Ambilight. The splitter input is plugged into my receiver's HDMI output. From the splitter one cable goes to the TV and another to a video capture device.Despite this setup there is no visible video quality loss, audio delay or gaming lag. It does get a little warm but nothing that concerns me. I bought this splitter after a different one was causing my TV screen to flash like a strobe light with the PS3 source I did all sorts of troubleshooting with the other splitter to no avail. The only thing I changed was this splitter and everything works perfectly. I will definitely keep FarSail products on my watch list.The only problem, but it is only a minor one for me, maybe not for others, is that CEC no longer works. I had the same problem with the other splitter as well, despite being advertised as being CEC compatible. No biggie for me. Just in case anyone about the CEC part my TV is n LG 47LV5400 and the receiver is an Onkyo HT-R393

I have Dish Network setup with a Joey system and wanted to make a mirror image from one TV in my basement to another without having buy another Joey and increase my Dish bill. I bought a 50' HDMI cable along with this splitter. It works perfectly. I can use the same Dish remote for both TV's since they are the same brand TV. Image is perfect. No loss of signal

I wasn't getting a signal on the TV with the 50' of HDMI cable when I wrote the review. After going back and checking again I notice I was switching the input to the DVD player and not to my HDMI cable. To sum this up, the other reviews were correct and this splitter does work correctly even on the long run of 50' of HDMI cable. The item was package very good and was delivered as stated. The splitter was in it's own box and inside another box. The only problem I had was in myself and getting in too big of a hurry and not thinking things out. The splitter works as describes.

Works good over all. I use it to play through my Projector and 60" TV ( Which ever I have on at the time) from the surround system. Once in a great while it seems to lose connection with the projector just for a moment but not often enough to be a problem. Maybe once or twice in an evening. Reconnects in just a second or less, really not a problem.
