Solved my problems
Currently, I use a Lee pro 1000 with the pro auto disks and a modified adjustable charge bar, and they generally work fine, but they leak some powder and don't meter larger flake powder worth a crap in small charge weights. Setup of the auto drum is straightforward, unscrew the auto disk measure and screw in the auto drum to the powder charge/case flair die. No adjustment was needed, ran a piece of brass up into the measure, and it activated the drum and flared the brass exactly as the auto disk was adjusted to. I believe the auto drum is a much superior metering design for larger flake powder for one main reason. The pro auto disks are a constant depth and change volume by having much smaller or larger diameter holes. The auto drum has a much larger diameter fixed hole and change volume by depth, thereby making powder bridging much less likely. Consistent and adjustable powder charges with no dropping, which a totally despise. The cavity also slants verses being perfectly vertical like the disks, and I'm sure that helps as well. I used this one while reloading 45 ACP and still use the auto disk with 9mm as is easier just to leave everything alone and just switch the entire turret dies and all.

If you think you need one of these, you better get two or more.
I loved this powder measure so much that I bought 3 more of them. I use all Lee dies on my Dillon 550b press and have one of these for each caliber that I reload. They are easy to adjust, accurate as any powder measure out there and the price can't be beat. They come with a small capacity drum for pistols and a large capacity drum for rifles. The large one has a plug insert so you can also use it as another pistol drum. I use the small one for 40 S&W and the larger one for 10mm on my tool head set up for 40 caliber pistols. Same with the 38 and 357 tool head set up. If you turn the hopper an 1/8th of a turn or so, you stop the flow of powder through the measure. You will still have about 70 grains of powder in the measure that you need to run through before you can change to a different drum. After you change the drum out, you turn the hopper back on and can start running powder through the new drum. The different drums are nice because once they're set up for one caliber, you can be running charges quickly after a caliber change (you can buy an additional set of 4 drums for around $15 or $20). I read that you can write on the drums to keep track of which goes with each caliber, but haven't tried it. I run mine on the Dillon press with linkage removed, so I don't have to reset it every time and it works great. I haven't tried to use the ball chain that comes with it as a fail safe like my Dillon powder measure has, but you don't really need it. When you're done reloading, you turn off the hopper and it pulls up and off, so you can dump the powder back into the container (use a funnel or put the hopper in the powder jut and open the bottom of the hopper and it will flow right out). This measured very accurately and the only time I had problems leaking was with W296 (H110), which is like baby powder and leaked a lot worse through my Lee Perfect Powder Measure. It has some sort of wiper blade inside it that is supposed to work really well with the stick type rifle powder. I don't load for rifles, so I can't attest to how well it works on that or not.

Easy and Accurate
Great choice! I have been using Lee products for years and have always found them innovative and reasonably priced. Recently I have been using their Loadmaster to produce a lot ot 9mm ammo. Several times, for whatever reason, the powder measure got "hung up" and did not return and then drop powder for the next load. Bad!! No powder means "Squib". I purchased this new powder measure to alleviate that problem and perhaps give me more accurate drops. This new measure has done both. Works perfectly every time. Easy to adjust and very accurate. I am using Titegroup which is a very fine and fast burning powder. We are talking about 3.5 grains or so. It has been accurate to about .05 of a grain or even a little better. Also, regardless of what some reviews have stated, I have no noticeable leakage of powder. After loading 500 rounds, there are no powder grains falling out and the accuracy is well within my acceptance level.

Good value, does the job
I was hesitant to write this review till I got further along in testing, but believe I have enough to form an initial opinion and will update later if I discover anything new. First off, the bottom loading powder hopper is a horrible idea. I don't know who thought it would be preferable to a top loader, but it's anything but. You can't return check weight charges to the hopper. Rather than remove a lid and return the entire contents to the powder can, you have to first remember to rotate the shut off valve to "off", then remove hopper, then unscrew and empty it. Forget to turn the valve to "off" and the minute you remove the hopper you have powder everywhere. Guess who didn't remember that the first time it was set up :-) Not using a top loading hopper also means I can't use a powder baffle like I can with every other top loading powder dispenser. I don't know how charge weights might vary between a mostly full hopper and an almost empty hopper, but time will tell. Test weighing charges indicated reasonable consistency, but I got ahead of the game by watching online reviews and employing a few pre-emptive tweaks in advance of using it, so I may have saved myself some grief there (thank you online reviewers). The biggest benefit of this measure is that it compliments my Lee turret press, and vastly speeds up loading time over previous methods I used on a single stage press. When you're trying to throw a lot of ammo together, the process can be grueling and slow without something like this, which dispenses in the Lee powder-through flaring die (don't forget to buy a riser from Lee if you plan to use their press mounted priming tool on the turret press). It's aluminum and plastic, but seems well made enough and particularly for its cost. The only thing I wish Lee didn't do was use a bottom loading hopper; that feature is going to annoy me to no end, but maybe I'll get used to it. Hopefully they bring back the top loader, I would get one in an instant.

Best measure in Lee's line
I own the Lee Disk, Perfect Powder, and Auto Drum measures. The drum version is the most accurate and consistent of the three. Use a tiny pinch of powdered graphite to condition the dispensing bottle and chamber against static before using the device. I found setting up the drum measure easy as well.

Use it more than one time and it's worth it
My first use left me very disappointed. I had more powder leaking than the pro auto disk. The second use, of the exact same powder was a completely different story. I don't think any powder leaked. My only recommendation would be to start your charge on the low side, and slowly work up to the charge you want to get. DON'T take a heavy charge, and make it lighter while the drum is loaded with powder. I think that's what caused my initial leak. The powder I was using was H110, which is known to be one of the finer powders. Setting up the drum is a piece of cake. I took my scale, set the scale to the charge I wanted, and added powder until zero (took about 20 seconds). Then I took the charge from the scale and filled up the space in the drum and adjusted until the charge was flush to the drum surface. Then I dumped out the powder, decreased the space by 1 full turn, so I could work up to the exact charge I wanted. Overall, I highly recommend this product. Once I got the charge right, the throws were basically identical (+/- .05g) regardless of how much powder was in the hopper. You don't have to settle for odd charges, you can get exactly the charge your manual states. Changes and adjustments are way easier than using the pro auto disk. Buy it. Revised 6/19/16: I stated in my first post to not adjust the charge while powder was in the hopper. I've had good results (no powder leaking) if I adjust the charge while the drum is in the "thrown" position. Don't know if this makes much of a difference, but thought I'd share.

As they stated "will accurately and automatically dispense powder charges ...
As they stated "will accurately and automatically dispense powder charges." Reloaded some 45ACP last night and measured every 10 cases. Got an average of -0.02 to +0.04 grains of win 231. Only thing is my left thumb felt sore by depressing the disconnector button to activate the powder measure and charge case.
