Read this--It will likely save you some hassles
Some wisdom gathered through experience with this product:Instructions are relatively complete but some/much common sense needed to assemble/operate/maintain this equipment.Benches are difficult. It might be helpful to know if they are actually necessary to support the wall structure of the pool side of the unit--I would remove them if not needed for structural integrity.Inflation of the unit is via the pump unit. All is well until inflated--when ambient temperature fluctuates, pool (and benches) vary greatly in rigidity, necessitating deflation or inflation, as appropriate. This situation is not an issue until the unit is completely assembled, with pump unit attached. After attaching pump unit to pool, the inflation outlet is not accessible to engage in additional inflation of benches or either pool or spa.Observation of water level after assembly: filled both sides of unit with water to 'maximum'. After 2 days, water level dropped significantly to below minimum--deduced cause is expansion of unit due to weight of water contained. I have refilled to maximum (again) and apparently problem is resolved.Update, May 2, 2017--I am learning much more and reducing my approval of this product:The pump circulates water through the filters on the spa side for a period of time, then shuts down while an automatic electric valve switches to the other side (the pool side), then starts up again, circulating (and filtering) water on the pool side for a few hours. After that, the pump shuts off, rests for 2 hours, switches the valve to the spa side again, and restarts the routine again. My lesson: after 4 complete cycles, as described above, 48 hours have elapsed. My pool water level has decreased by over 10 inches and my spa water level has increased to the point that hot water is flowing over the walls of the spa. I called "technical support", apparently based in China, spoke with several "technicians" that knew little to nothing about the product and mis pronounced English to the point that several repeats were required over and over again. Furthermore, they were not AT ALL familiar with the product, not even knowing that it was a spa AND a pool, and that the walls were inflated compartments...Long story short--after two hours on the phone, my request for supervisor being refused, having made 3 separate calls and speaking with 3 different "technicians", they finally informed me they would send me a new valve assembly. I presume I must install it myself. They have no mailing address, no email address, and require you complete the claim form on line and upload a copy of your receipt--no other way to complete the claim.Horrible service!Based upon the HORRIBLE support for Intex, I have reduced my product rating to 3 stars.More to come after I wrestled with claim form, uploading my receipt (I'm age 70...), we will see what happens...

Way over priced
Worth about 500. Way too much for this item. Smaller than expected. Easy to set up. Not bad for kids. Just not worth 850.

Money well spent on this hot-tup/mini-pool combo
Very happy with the purchase of this combination hot-tub/mini-pool! I installed it alone - no second person needed, even if the instructions recommended it. I shipped the tub to St. Martin in the Caribbean and installed it there on sandy ground. After leveling the ground out with a rake, it is sufficiently even for the unit. The pump is also used to inflate the different air chambers of the pool. But once the pool is filled with water and the pump hooked up to handle the water flow, removing the pump in order to adjust air pressure becomes a bit complicated. The valves used are the same typically installed on inflatable boats or dinghys and I would highly recommend buying a secondary foot pump for handling the air pressure. The strong UV radiation in the Caribbean is a concern and I cover the pool with a cheap tarpaulin. I believe this is a great product for the price. If it lasts a few years, I will be impressed and get a next one.

Hot tub and sitting pool/spa
Great purchase!!!!! Wanted a hot tub but something for the children also so worked out perfect. Shipping was fast but FYI ours was delivered on 18-wheeler and driver had trouble getting down our small street. Also it comes with a pressure gauge so it's not over inflated but our never worked and don't know how to get a new one. That's why only 4-stars.

What an awesome idea. This model is new to the market ...
What an awesome idea. This model is new to the market and we wanted to share with you a little about our experience. Even though it was shipped freight due to it being 255 lbs in the box, it arrived within a week. The setup was very simple and Intex provides multiple sets of instructions as well as a safety DVD. One quick note is that the pool side is not heated, only the spa side is. However both have air jets.We have created a review video of the product along with some setup tips on our PRA7 Reviews youtube channel.[...]

Horrible claim process
Their claim process is ridiculous. Their product was defective and my inflatable spa lid sprung a leak months after buying this product. Once you jump through hoops to get a claim started, they required me to cut out pieces of the leaking lid and they want me to mail pieces to them. Number one, I have to pay postage and packaging to mail it. Number two, they are out of the replacement product, so I have to wait until they get more of this item which is a problem since they want me to cut up the inflatable lid I have which I have been airing up on a daily basis so I CAN USE THIS PRODUCT. It's leaking but I can still air it up frequently so I can still use my product until they can actually send me a replacement which they don't have. If I chop it into pieces to mail it to them when they don't even have this product in stock, how is that good business?? I would suggest just buying your pool/spa through Bestway and not Intex. I filed claim for my pool with Bestway because the pump went out within a year and the process was WAY smoother and better. Not too mention they had the part on hand. I will be sure to buy next hot tub through Bestway purely for peace of mind in case I need to utilize their claim process. Intex is a joke when it comes to their warranty. They make it nearly impossible to utilize it.
