Will this fit an 8 year old?

I got these for my 10 yo son who is approx 75 lbs, they took a few times to adjust but once adjusted they stay in place and protect really well. The chin cup helps the chinstrap stay put where his old gear used to move around. He did have a hard time hearing through them but it improved once I made sure the ear holes were not blocked by straps. Comfort also helps make sure they will actually wear them, my son felt confident knowing it wouldn’t love around and was comfortable and protecting him.

Will these fit youth wrestlers? (9-10 year old)

I purchased the adult size for my 13 yr old boy.. There is no option to purchase a youth size in this particular model at this time.. The ear pads are huge! I even tried it on with my big head, no way.. It covers the ear and the whole side of the head.. I guess some people like them like that.. Sent it back and ordered a different Adidas model in youth size.. Fits perfect.

Can the back straps be criss crossed?
