Outstanding Desk
Far exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a small out of the way desk to set up and easily take down as needed. But no need to do this so far. It's perfectly crafted VERY sturdy (yes, you need to fully snap out folding legs BEFORE using) and uses a small footprint and looks lovely, beautiful wood. Came well packaged no damage, dings, at all. Love it, highly recommend

Perfect Small Desk for any space. No tools needed. Light enough for just about anyone to set-up.
I am living with my Mom and therefore, crunching an office into a bedroom - I am an online reseller with a full-time job as well. I am used to having my own house, bedroom, office space and storage. So of course, this is challenging to say the least. My Grandfather's antique desk has always been in the room I use, so I tried to use it but over the past year I realized it wasn't going to work so I started looking for a solution. It was very small so I wanted to use that same amount of space. I just needed a keyboard shelf/drawer. I wanted wood, not glass. My free time is nonexistant so I didn't want to build a complicated piece of modern day crapola. This desk is just perfect! Color is in the range of my other vintage and antique furniture pieces. It weighs very little so dragging it into the room was no big deal. There is nothing to set up except inserting the keyboard shelf into place and plugging it in. That's the big bonus... it has USB ports at the back center! Who ever has enough USB ports these days? The only thing I don't like is the lack of storage drawers. Due to it's size, placing my existing rolling file cabinets underneath would leave too little leg room. So while I look for a solution to that, I'm still super happy with this purchase. The price was also great - so much less than many folding desks.

Good everyday or ad hoc workstation, quick setup and sturdy
I needed to update the furniture in my home office and this desk fit what I wanted perfectly. I've been living with it every day for both work and personal use for over a year now and have been very pleased with it. Portability was not a great concern (I actually selected it before I realized it folded) but it's a great bonus. What I wanted was a workstation that provided adequate space up top for a couple of monitors and a large enough keyboard tray to comfortably fit a full size keyboard and mouse pad (see Side Notes below**), as well as significant space below for a desktop tower computer.UTILITY - This portable desk offers all of the above in a minimal footprint and is easily collapsed to free up space for other uses or to be relocated. Despite being foldable, it's quite sturdy, holding my two full-size monitors and a large laptop*** with less wobbling than many small-footprint desks and tables I inspected in office furniture stores. I think it would also be usable as a student desk with a laptop or single monitor, which should leave enough desktop available for a writing surface as needed; with a couple of monitors, a small writing desk or side table might be needed if a writing surface is required.APPEARANCE - This is an all-wood desk (though in some places glued together from smaller pieces), and as such is an attractive piece of casual furniture. Perhaps not a good fit in a formal living room, but anywhere else this will fit in better than a lot of the metal frame and particle board alternatives I've seen at this price level. It looks great sitting in my office/den.DESKTOP - While the desk is wide enough, be aware that it's less than 16.5" deep, so not a lot of real estate behind or in front of the monitors; do some measuring and make sure this will work for your use case. The keyboard tray extends beyond this in front when pulled out, but fits completely under the desk when pushed in.KEYBOARD TRAY - Regarding the keyboard tray, as you can see in the pics this one is extra-wide, running the full width of the desk. There's plenty of room for a large keyboard and large mousepad, with space left over to set a smartphone or even a small tablet. It shouldn't be an issue for most, but I would note that like the desktop, the tray's not especially deep and to stay secure quite a bit of it stays under the desk even when fully extended, so there's about 6" from the front edge of the desk to the inside of the 1/2"-deep "lip" at the front of the tray. I have plenty of room to move my mouse forward and back, but if you like a hefty wrist rest in front of the keyboard (or have one integrated), this might not be a good fit for you.PORTABILITY - Collapsing the desk when not in use is a snap. Remove the giant keyboard tray, lift the front edge of the hinged desktop off of the side legs (more on that in a bit), fold the legs in, drop the desktop, and you're done. The keyboard tray is heftier than most, so I'd recommend moving it to the new location in a separate trip after getting the desk set up.USB POWER - The USB-A power sockets in back might be useful for some applications, but I generally top up my rechargeables elsewhere. Especially because of this, I appreciate the attached snap-on dust cover and power switch - nice touches. Two of the sockets are higher-powered, so perhaps pay attention to the manual on that since they're not well labeled. A short octopus adapter/converter cable is included so that you can charge USB-C, USB micro, or Lightning from a USB-A slot - another nice touch.STURDINESS - I've mentioned that the desk handles what I've loaded on it quite well, but I note that the smattering of negative reviews here sometimes complain that the keyboard tray would fall or even the entire desk collapse unexpectedly. That's just not possible if it's properly deployed. The hinged desktop has a couple of hefty pegs to fit into corresponding holes atop the folding side legs. If those are seated properly, the whole structure is quite robust. The two points I'd make about all this are:1) If pegs and holes are not aligned properly (it's not hard, but it could be missed if you're not paying attention), the desktop will not be secured and the legs possibly knocked out from under it on one side or the other, which would also drop the keyboard tray in a clattering mini-catastrophe.2) YOU CAN ONLY MOVE THE DESK WHEN IT IS UNLOADED AND FOLDED. I can't emphasize this point enough - it is NOT SAFE to try and move/shift this desk "just an inch or two" with equipment on top of it. Anyone trying this is risking the kind of "failure" we see reported in some of the negative comments.SHIPPING/UNPACKING - The one true caveat here (and the only reason this is 4 of 5 stars) is that while it does arrive fully assembled, the desk is oddly packaged in a way that doesn't appear to protect it well from mishandling. My first desk arrived with a crack running the length of the narrow panel at the back of the desktop and had to be returned. That was an adventure in itself, since the packaging is very complicated and proved challenging to rebuild for return shipping. I think the desk is so desirable when delivered in good condition that it was worth the hassle, but my advice would be to take your time and record with stills and or video the unpacking process, perhaps marking some of the key foam blocks as you go, so that (if necessary) you can repackage it without a lot of heartburn.Side notes:**Keyboard trays are a real sticking point for me - for some reason, the dimwits designing most office desks and even "computer workstations" either fail to include keyboard trays (pretty lousy for ergonomics) or provide keyboard trays just large enough for a full size keyboard as if mice didn't exist (hello 1984). This forces users either to put the mouse on the desktop (again, not great ergonomics) or get a reduced footprint keyboard (i.e., lose the numeric keypad) to leave some space for a small mouse area (this is barely tolerable for me, but for most heavy spreadsheet users would be a non-starter).***This sounds impossible given the limited real estate, but I don't use all 3 screens at at once. The laptop is for work and drives its internal screen and one external monitor, while I use that external monitor plus the second monitor for my personal desktop system. So in "work mode" the laptop is open and blocking the 2nd (inactive) monitor, while in "personal mode" the laptop is closed and the 2nd monitor is on.

So easy!
Easiest furniture I’ve ever put together. Was pleasantly surprised that it folds out and fits together with pegs and holes. Nice for the price!

Plenty of room for my laptop and 24” monitor!
Love this desk! Plenty of desktop space, and with the pull out keyboard drawer the height is perfect. No issues with the drawer pulling out too far, there is a stop in the rails, if you pull past that, then yes the drawer will fall out. Made of real wood and very solid. Was hoping that the color would be a bit lighter, but still very happy with my purchase!

Great for the Price
As a person who moves frequently, I really appreciate this desk. It is lightweight, folds easily, and looks really nice. The finished wood is beautiful. The sliding keyboard shelf works well on mine (I read other people didn't have the same luck). It is sturdy enough to hold my 21" monitor, laptop, external hard drive, cables and accessories. The USB charger is a nice feature. My only complaint is that the pieces don't line up nicely. Luckily, it is only noticeable from the back, so I don't mind that much.

Flimsier Than Expected
This was NOT packaged well and was damaged in shipment. Rather than dealing with returning it, my husband repaired the broken hinges. The screws were completely pulled out of the wood. The pull-out drawer is unstable and does not pull out evenly if pulled from the center. One side releases well, and the other hangs up. What should have been a simple set up, ended up requiring work on our part, so that is why I marked the rating down for ease of assembly. We are using it in a guest room, so it won't get a lot of heavy use. If you are looking for something sturdy, especially for a kid or teen's room, I suggest you look elsewhere for something sturdier and better built. The USB ports were functional, but the rubber/plastic cover for them won't last long with frequent use. I wouldn't buy it again.
