Hydration Bottle with Meter

After going through several Thermos Intak bottles (lost or with broken plastic lid latches), I tried this newer model. I prefer the Intak model because the opening is a greater diameter, and the tapered oval base of the bottle is easier to grip.This newer design’s smaller spout takes a few seconds longer to get a couple full swallows, and it’s too small to easily allow the water to pour out while letting air in the top of the gap without the slow chugging action of air bubbles forcing their way in. Also, the Intak’s base happens to fit perfectly into my car’s cup holder, whereas this newer rounder base can only be wedged in at the top.

The last 2 water bottles I had broke on me :( I wanted something with out a straw, that was easy to hold and "JB proof". I spill, for 50 years, I spill lol I needed an adult sippy cup! My others were ok but they only had 1 barrier between liquid and spilling. This one has a flip top controlled with a side button and then a wire that you flip up to lock it in place :) When I first got it, I was going crazy trying to figure out what the dial with numbers were for on top of the lid?! I feel so stupid..... It took me a day to realize you use that to keep up with your water intake!! Duuur!I love the shape the bottle is in and the textured side so JB does not make it go flying across the room, parking lot, gym....... LOVE IT!

I've been using these water bottles for years and won't use any other style. The pop-top allows for single-hand use, and the spout is large enough to clean (unlike those straws) while still small enough to drink from while on the move (unlike wide-mouthed bottles that you have to stand still to drink from). The only negative is that these bottles can break if dropped onto concrete. If the bottle doesn't shatter, sometimes the plastic tab that keeps it closed breaks. That's not the end of the world; it just means you have to use the metal lock loop to hold it shut. I wish Thermos would sell replacement lids because I've dropped quite a few over the years. Either that, or add some sort of protective rubber sleeve/strap to absorb the shock when dropped. Finally, these are dishwasher safe. All-in-all, I recommend this product.

It's a nice enough bottle, but ultimately way too fragile for something that gets this much use and abuse.I like to carry a water bottle with me daily. I appreciate the fact that this one has a good seal, so it's not going to leak into my bag and destroy my phone (like a more expensive bottle did a few years ago). And it's a good size--holds a decent 24 oz. while not so huge that it's annoying to carry.But my gosh, it's delicate. First problem was when I took it to spin class and it fell from the bike's cup holder. We're talking a drop of about 15 inches onto a padded gym floor. Crack! The latch was destroyed. Okay, annoying, but I could still use the metal clasp to keep the lid closed. Then this morning my purse fell (again, a small drop--less than a foot in this instance) and the entire lid portion shattered. It's now completely useless. I've been using the same travel coffee mug for about 15 years--I can't believe that my water bottle lasted less than one year.So a decent bottle overall, but I've decided to replace it with something a little sturdier.

I've been looking for a water bottle my arthritic hands could hold without pain. This not only means under 3 inches in diameter, but it also can't have too much weight (water is heavy). I bought 2 because they looked promising (one to use while ones in the wash). They're great. The bottle holds enough water that I'm not refilling it every hour and the textured taper in the middle makes it comfortable to grip. It's a little tricky pulling the o-ring and plug out for cleaning, but I can live with it. The "meter" in the lid is a little weak but usable. Overall I'm happy with them.

I am constantly looking for good drinking bottles that don’t come with straws. I like these very much. They are attractive and work well. I like that they have color but you can still see through to see how much liquid is left to drink. I very much like their color selection. They are easy to hold and drink from. I am hoping the opening and keeping open mechanisms last a long time. So many of these from other companies don’t so we will see. Insulation would have been nice but it is hard to get everything one wants. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have purchased 3 or 4 of these water bottles, and my son wanted a new one to take to college. We have tried many different types, but this one is a favorite. I like that it is BPA-free --- unlike many of the cheap give-away freebies that my kids have gotten over the years. Also, the texture on the bottle makes it easier to grip. The bottle is easy to clean. I put the lid on the top rack of the dishwasher and put the bottle in the bottom. I've never had a problem with cleaning them this way. The bottles will shatter if dropped forcefully, but in my experience, they do not break easily. We have one that started leaking over time, but for the most part, these do not leak. The lids do not break easily, either, which is a plus. We used to use a different brand but the lids were constantly breaking.

This bottle is perfect for kids.The double latch makes it almost impossible to open the bottle by accident.You can trow this in their bag without worrying that it will leak or open.The metal latch gives a nice tactile feel that the kid can associate with properly closed.It is plastique so it won't keep beverages warm or very cold for long but it is lighter, very sturdy and cheaper. After a year the first one I bought the metal latch gave up, the bottle was full of scratches for being thrown on the ground constantly while at school, soccer and such but it NEVER LEAKED.Once I found the bottle in his bag with the metal latch not closed but the push button offered enough resistance on its own that it did not open by accident.You can easily fit standard ice cube in the bottle mouth.Everything is very easy to clean.This is the best water bottle lock system period.

I had originally bought myself the pink bottle on another website and I loved it, so I bought my boyfriend the green one. Twinsies. We love the way the cap is both leak-proof and convenient to open/close. The size is just right, and the grippy side makes it easier to hold. Neither of us uses the hydration dial at the top, but I'm sure it's a good way to remind people to drink water. The wide neck of the bottle allows for easy cleaning. Overall a great purchase for a great price.

Compré esta botella por que es el modelo nuevo de la que actualmente uso desde 2012. FInalmente, el domo de mi tapa se rompió y estuve buscando una para reponerla sin que ninguna me gustara hasta que encontré el nuevo modelo. Espero que me dure otros 9 años!

I need a large water bottle that its in normal cupholders, has a locking feature (to not open in my purse), and can be opened with one hand (while driving). This one is perfect! I've purchased it in the past and have been very happy, so keep coming back as they break (from dropping....).
