The bundle came with the workbook and the teachers manual. It came with a fact sheet as well explaining how to use this bundle which was full of good info. I loved the teachers manual because it goes into FULL detail on what to do with your child each and every day. It has a three day a week schedule or if you prefer to work on it every day and do less each day, it also has a five day schedule you can choose. The student workbook is also VERY nice! In each lesson there are 4 pages, page one being a "Spelling Words in Action" section where it shows all the spelling words in a story form (sometimes fiction, sometimes non fiction) for example, in lesson one in the grade 5 spelling workout it talks about an earthquake and give a few facts about that so the kids are not only learning spelling but also about earthquakes as well. Page 2 is called "Spelling Practice" where the kids learn that not all words sound like they are spelled and have to write down all the kn "n" sounding words down and so on... there is also a "Tip" in the top left corner about the words and below that is the spelling list for that section. Page three is a couple fun games for the kids to do, using the spelling words like a crossword puzzle and an Alphabetical order section. The last page has two sections...one is on "Proofreading" where the child has to proof read (it also shows you what symbols to use to proof read) an article and find the misspelled words and write them correctly on the right hand side and last there is a "Writing a descriptive Paragraph" using all or most of the spelling words. There is also a few "bonus words" listed in the bottom corner. Very fun and interesting ways to learn their words. Very happy with this book!

This is exactly what I've been looking for! 4 pages for each lesson...do one page Mon-Thurs and the the spelling/vocab tests on Friday. Add sentence writing and looking up definitions to round it out. The curriculum is practically written for you! One less thing to have to think about. Perfect!

Love the Homeschool Bundle with Student and teacher books. Great for kids to self-start their lessons every day.Comprehensive and has been very effective in improving my son's Spelling.Great Vocabulary development and application with associations and crosswords. Has a small grammar/punctuation editing section (actually wish it was a bit bigger) and a short writing assignment each lesson. Bonus Word section is fun and can be used to "Boost" ego (and grade) if you add those as extra-credit on the test. Added plus if format is laid out to do a Review Chapter every 6 weeks.Level H is approx 7th-9th Grade depending on student's skill level.

The Spelling Workout series has been my go-to spelling curriculum since we started homeschooling and has worked equally well for the child that is a natural spelling whiz and the one that struggles with spelling rules. The bundle is the way to go as sometimes you need to have the answers on hand. For H, we go through one lesson a week, which works out to a page a day plus a quiz.

Seems to be a good resource. The lists are written in cursive and my fifth grader apparently hasn't learned cursive well enough to read it; a situation I have to rectify now that he is homeschooling. Other than that the exercises and directions a easy to understand and just the right length.

I love the layout and structure of this workbook -- easy to follow- My 5th grader loves it also! I would recommend it!

We really like this curriculum. Easy to follow and you can follow suggested pace or move faster if need be.
