Beautiful 8 1/2" statue (not 16.1")
Thought this was a 16" tall statue as the dimensions given on the site were L x W x H as 8.4" x 6.6" x 16.1". It is only 8.4" tall. Still, a beautiful statue and may keep it anyway. Wanted to put it next to dad's gravestone. Still may do so if we think the height is ok. Wish they made a larger statue.

Absolute Gem
This is by far the most beautiful St. Francis statue I have ever come across. Only wish they made one taller and for outdoor use. He is wonderful, however, and will protect my indoor Kitties just fine.

Not bronze
Not actually made out of bronze. Overpriced for whatever plastic this is made out of. Also, this is made in China. I couldn't find it in the description. Seems like a scam, but I already gave it as a gift, so I can't return it.

I really wanted to rate this higher.
This is a beautiful statue. It was the perfect size for my memorial. But, be warned, it is NOT metal of any kind. The description says it's made of "cold cast metal", but it's definitely resin. I think the price was quite high for painted resin. I chose to pay more because it was advertised as metal. Disappointed, but it still meets my need for a St. Francis statuette.

He really loved it but his mother placed it on the fireplace ...
Gave this statue to my grandson for his Confirmation because he took St. Francis as his model saint. He really loved it but his mother placed it on the fireplace matel with her garden display but he will take it when he goes to college in 2019. Well made and I plan to order another one for my adult son for his birthday. Saint Francis is his favorite also.
