Level is good, I like it. The stud finder isn't worth it. Piece of crap. I had high hopes for the stud finder as I just painted my house and didnt want to put a bunch of holes in the walls, well, that backfired.

This unit is nicely thought out and well built. The combination of triple level (horizontal, vertical and 45 degree), ruler, measuring tape, and laser - work well together. Frankly I was expecting a cheaply-made toy, but this arrived already loaded with the batteries plus a very useful picture hanging tool to help with a varied of pic hanging methods. Great set! The tape measure automatically locks when extended, then retracts on the push of a button. It makes a lot sense: I don't want to have to fight the tape to keep it open, then lock it to measure. Overall, well thought out, well built, well packaged, and well shipped. An excellent job.

Lazer level feels cheap and no really good way to mount in place. Stud finder straight up doesnt work at all. If you think the stud finder is a good addition then look somewhere else. You could literally watch it detect studs when held in the air.
