Thick, High-Quality Paper – A Must for Discbound Users
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This paper is perfect for my discbound notebook! The dot grid is the ideal scale, making it great for bullet journaling, note-taking, or planning. It’s nice and thick, so I don’t have to worry about ink bleeding through, and it fits seamlessly with all discbound systems. It’s also super easy to use—pages pop in and out smoothly without tearing or feeling flimsy. For the quality, this is a fantastic value, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing! Highly recommend for anyone using a discbound setup. ✨📖

Nice thick smooth paper
I'm a happy planner user and wanted to dabble in this kind of journaling. It's nice bc it fits into the large happy planner for extra notes and stuff. I use it all the time it is very nice.

Nice and Thick Sheets
I really like this paper's quality. It's nice and thick. I love that the printed dots are not bold. I purchased it to see if it would fit my disc binder that I got from Five Below as a test to see if I'd like this type of binder and it works great. I will order again.

Must have for BIG happy planners!
I wanted super super simple paper for journaling and note taking in my BIG The Happy Planner. Their selection of BIG accessories leaves a lot to be desired. I am in LOVE with this paper. It’s just what I needed. The dots are smaller and lighter than the Happy Planner dotted paper but I like that they’re still easy to see and use as guides without being so overwhelming to your design aesthetic. I did an ink test immediately before putting them in my book to see if I should keep the paper and it passed with flying colors. The only thing that bled through was the sharpie and I only tested that because I was curious, I don’t usually use them for journaling. Even the stabilo boss dark colors were not seen on the other side, which is an issue for a lot of my other papers. I will definitely be ordering a ton more from this brand. Thank you!!!

thick paper stock
Great paper stock that works perfectly in my disc bound planner. The paper is thick enough that no matter what kind of pen I use there isn't any show through. And I love the subtle dot grid pattern.

Good quality paper
Got this for a project; tested all of the following on a page:* Micron and Marvy Uchida pens* Sharpie Pens* Fineliners of various brands (Monami Plus Pen 3000, Staedtler Triplus, Marvy Le Pen)* Flair Pens* ZIG Clean Color Dot (fineliner and dot ends)* Zebra Clickart pens* ZIG Brushables and Marvy Le Plume II brush markers* Crayola Supertips* Zebra Mildliner and Sharpie S-Note highlighters* A stamp inked with Tsukineko VersaMagic inkThe only one that came close to bleeding through was the Zebra Clickart pen. The others don't even produce that much ghosting. I wasn't expecting such robust paper but I'm pleased.

Almost perfect!
I like to design and construct my own discbound planners/journals. I've tested a bunch of different discs, covers, dividers, etc., and I've also tested at least 7 types of letter-size, 120 gsm (allegedly, in some cases), 11-ring discbound, dot grid paper by now, at varying price points. There are a lot of issues with the cheaper paper on Amazon (e.g. awful cutting that leaves the edges of the ream and mushroom punches ragged). This one by Sort Out my Life (SOML), though, is one of the best I've tried. In fact, this SOML brand paper is tied with just one other (Eleven Discs Pure Dot Grid) for the absolute best. There are only two things about the Eleven Discs paper that I like better than this paper: first, the Eleven Grid is ~truly~ *pure* white, whereas this SOML paper is slightly bluer/cooler in tone; second, the Eleven Discs paper is just a tad more opaque and heavy-feeling (but this is a very subtle difference). Most other papers (e.g. my Happy Planner paper, etc.) also have a white that is closer in color to the Eleven Discs than to this SOML paper, and my Bic White Out tape all but disappears on Eleven Discs paper - but not this one - so I would say this paper is a bit of a mis-match to what would be considered a standard, true white.Another thing that's CRUCIAL to me is that my paper be acid free. Acidic paper will turn yellow and brittle over time. Acidic paper will also introduce acid to items stored with it (photos, other paper), potentially damaging them too. This paper does not explicitly state that it's acid-free at the time of this review, but when I asked, SOYL said it is. (I would recommend they more prominently feature this on their listing and packaging, as other brands (including Eleven Discs) do!)Other than those two things, this paper wins on all counts for me. It's still quite opaque and the pens I use regularly do not ghost or bleed on it. It's heavy enough that repeated movement of pages around my discbound journals shouldn't fray or damage it (the same CANNOT be said for other discbound papers and other discbound journal accessories you find on Amazon). I love that the grid is 5mm, giving me a generous amount of useable spaces in the grid. (Eleven Discs has a 1/4" grid, giving me fewer.). The price is also so so much better than Eleven Discs, which gives you only 40 sheets for about $16.The two papers (this one and Eleven Discs/other true white papers) don't really match up if used in the same journal due to the shade difference. This is frustrating as I'd like to add this paper to my current notebooks, but really can't, as they look so different. I might just have to start my new journal entirely with this paper, though, because given the comparable quality, finer grid, and FAR better price, I think I'm going to have to switch to this paper over the Eleven Discs going forward! To the manufacturers, if you just corrected that tone of whiteness, this paper would blow all others out of the water, hands down, and I would purchase nothing else forever.(Bonus note for those interested. Best discs I've tried? By far the ~metal~ Happy Planner discs. Nice and thin, zero drag on my pages and other accessories. The other metal/aluminum discs by other brands on Amazon are ok, but not as good. That said, you do have regularly check Happy Planner's website for the best selection of their metal discs.)
