Lid itself is good quality, poor fit though for the Samual Grove chef's pan it was purchased for.
The lid is of good quality materials and well made. However, you'd think it would be a perfect fit for the manufacturers other pans of the same size. This is not the case for the Samuel Groves - Stainless Steel Tri-Ply Chefs Pan which is 26cm also. The lid description states 'the raised lip provides a secure fitting that traps heat, moisture and aids in enhancing the overall flavour' but due to how thin the chefs pan walls are compared to the width of the raised lip, the lid is very loose and unless you perfectly align it there will be gaps all around as the lid freely moves in all directions by about 5mm.
