Just as good, if not better, than name brand.
I have been using these refills rather then the Dymo branded cartridges. The label maker itself is Dymo and it is one of those purchases that you wonder how you ever went without it. I use it to label just about everything, and if I had to pay the premium price for branded refills, I would certainly cut down on my use. When I first purchased the label maker, I did use a few packages of the Dymo labels. Out of around 10 cartridges, I experienced 2 "duds" where there were print errors and artifacts consistently. Switching to a new tape and back again confirmed it was the tape and not the maker.Once I made the switch, I can label excessively to my hearts content. I've never had any errors, and the adhesive is great. Crisp clear lines when printed, and I really can't find any faults. I would definitely advise that everyone at least gives these a shot, you really can't go wrong.

Worked Great in a Dymo LabelManager
I had a Dymo LabelManager I picked up at a yard sale for a few bucks that had very old Dymo branded labels inside. They still printed fine but the adhesive was pretty much gone and labels would remove themselves off any smooth surface. The printer itself is getting old and I believe is dependent on the built-in battery pack to function so I didn't want to sink a lot of money into new labels in case the printer stopped working. These labels were priced great and work just like the Dymo ones at a fraction of the cost. They are more of a matte finish vs the glossy of the Dymo labels but that's about it.

Saved me from trashing my Dymo
Update: After a year or more in the garage, the labels on some plastic bottles are starting to peel. They may just need to be reapplied, but the Dymo tape didn't do that. It may not have stuck well to begin with but when on there, it seemed to stay. However, on paper and other interior items, the tape still performs well. Plus, it is still MUCH easier to remove the backing than anything I've used from Dymo. So I'm going to knock it down a star and only recommend this for interior, non-humid area use (and probably non-outdoors at all). If you live in a drier climate, you might be able to get away with putting this on stuff in your garage. Also, the items you stick the tape to plays a big part -- if its plastic, it will be more of an issue. If another item like unfinished wood, it may work (though I can't confirm as I haven't tried it). I'm going to try another brand for outside stuff.Original review:I have liked my Dymo label maker but I've hated the labels that came with them and the replacement ones they sell. The ones that came with the machine didn't stick to non-paper items very well. So, I emailed the company and asked them to recommend something that would stick. They recommended I get another type of their's that would stick better. It was better, but getting the backing tape off was difficult, to put it mildly. Tape stickiness aside, the Dymo label cartridges were not seating properly in the label maker. I ruined at least 2 cartridges as the tape would not come out after it was installed (correctly).I was ready to trash the entire unit (and actually bought a Brother on sale, which is a bad idea for different reasons) until I read the reviews of this product. Thinking I only had a little time to lose and could return these labels if it didn't work, I ordered it. Boy, I'm glad I did. Not only do they insert well into the label maker, they stick to most anything I put them on and peeling off the backing tape is no big problem. I put these labels on spray bottles that sit in the garage as well as ones that are in the house. The heat and humidity doesn't seem to bother them, though they've done in the Dymo labels from previous years. I will have the occasional minor issue peeling off the backing tape, but that's usually because I keep my fingernails cut short and don't get a good grip.No tape is going to be perfect but if you've got a Dymo label maker and hate the tape you're using, try this.

Indistinguishable from Dymo Brand
I enjoy my Dymo labelmaker, but the cartridge price has been steadily increasing and spiked to $17 per black on white cartridge which is simply unacceptable. Send a message to Dymo that you won't accept unfair price bundling, and buy from this off-brand. The quality is indistinguishable, and I wouldn't be surprised if Dymo is using a price versioning strategy and licensing their product to this manufacturer. I am really not liking Dymo very much right now.
