Saved this twin momma’s sanity!
Bought these one night sitting in the nursery after finally having gotten the twins to sleep, only to have my two large dogs stand up, shake their heads and wake the babies from the noise their tags made. I was exhausted, I was frustrated, and most of all, I was desperate! I just needed to be able to know that once the babies were asleep, shy of someone ringing the doorbell, the dogs weren’t going to wake them up. This product came in and I immediately put them on their collars, enveloping their tags. It took about 15 seconds per dog collar - couldn’t have been easier to put them on, and they are AWESOME! My dogs lay next to me while I’m putting the babies down, and when they stand up, or shake their heads, there’s no noise. It’s exactly what I needed, and I highly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation!!!

WILL NOT HOLD UP TO ALLIGATORS!
Well......................I had big hopes for this product. I have a 10 year old rescue dog that is crossed with a beagle and a lab. He is white with light brown spots. Don't care about the tags making noise but his fur turns black around the neck/collar area and I read that this is from a reaction with the tags. Saw the Quiet Spot item and figured this will solve this problem. Installed the Quiet Spot as per directions and waited for the results. It was only on for about 2 hours when I realized my pet alligator had noticed the Quiet Spot item on Bailey and viciously attacked! I call it a pet alligator but some people refer to it as a Golden Retriever puppy! Took the Quiet Spot away from Lucky and reinstalled it the next day. Later noticed that Lucky was again chewing on the Quiet Spot item and had chewed a piece off. Can't really say there is a problem with the item but I guess it wasn't made to hold up to being chewed. Oh well. Enclosed is a photo of the Quiet Spot item missing a piece, a photo of Bailey and a photo of Lucky doing an impersonation of a duck-billed platypus with one of my slippers. I hope y'all have better luck with yours!

If Your Dog Wears Tags, You Should Have One of These
I've purchased several of these over the years, and they tend to last for over 5 years, at least. And, they do the job better than anything else I've found. I consider them must-have gear for any dog that wears tags most of the time. The only exception to this is a dog that is persistent about chewing on leashes and such. Many dogs will be able chew on it, if they are so inclined. And, the product won't stand up to much of that. Otherwise, I've never had one wear out. I only ever replace them when they just get too dirty (after years of daily wear).I will caution, however, that it is a good idea to open it up and inspect the tags once a year, or so. I have found that dirt will eventually accumulate inside and slowly scratch up tags, if you don't rinse it out from time to time. Tags with shallow engraving can become difficult to read if you let it go long enough.I only have two things I would change to make this a perfect product. First, I don't love the way it attaches. It uses three tiny straps that you thread through the tag ring and fasten closed with Velcro. It actually works just fine and never comes loose. It just tends to leave a tiny bit of Velcro exposed that can snag things like sweaters. It isn't really a problem, but it just feels a little unfinished and I think it could be improved. The other thing I would change is I would make it just a bit smaller. Since it can stretch quite a bit, it it was smaller it would hold the tags more snugly and present a tidier look. It is not so big that tags can possibly rattle inside. So, it is really just an aesthetic preference.

Almost 2 years and still going
We have had this since Nov 2018, so it's been almost 2 years at the time of this review. That being said, it was well worth it because my dog is very active. This includes walks as well as trips out to the big field off leash every day, not once has this tag bag fallen off. I was initially hesitant about the Velcro but I'm a believer now. I came on here to order another because as you can see from picture, my dog Raven has put hers though the ringer and we live in Oregon so it's gone through lots of rain and mud as well. So almost 2 years later I'm buying a new one, not because I have to mind you. It's still functional and maybe even good for many years but they are just worn to the point where I want a new clean one so Raven can have it looking like the one I'm replacing in a month. Regardless I highly recommend even if you have an active dog like mine. Well worth it to protect the tags as well as your sanity with the noise.

Secure Super Silencer
I have the same item in pink and used it on my dog's collar and now harness for the past 7 years...it got dirty and the color faded, naturally, but the neoprene has never ripped, nor have the Velcro strips ever detached. And it definitely keeps my dog's tags silent. One of the attached photos shows the reflective "Quiet Spot" logo still legible on the front of the bag, and the other shows how I criss-crossed the top-side Velcro straps over the center strap which passes through two metal loops of the tags inside. You can also see the original color in the middle of the top-layered strap (after I added a new tag). I've used another silencer that was plastic and opened on its own -- fell off the collar but, thankfully, at a friend's house, and a different plastic silencer that broke. Both were "top of the line" items but decayed over time. This neoprene silencer is, in my view, the most secure and long-lasting on the market. Only reason I bought a new one is because I bought a new harness and am ready for a fresh, new silencer...and black goes with everything.Only one concern, but mostly aesthetic is that this silencer only comes in one size and is about an inch longer than my small-breed dog's tags inside. Not a big deal, but looks and functions way better on her harness than her collar (no longer using due to geriatric trachea issues), which also put the silencer closer to the ground and dirt. Wish it came in a smaller size, but it still keeps the tags completely silent. And, be sure to periodically check the tags for dirt cover since that caused a film over the imprinted writing and the info. should always be clearly readable. Anyway, I strongly recommend!

Buena idea y útil
Esta genial, lo regalé y ayudo mucho a que no sonara la etiqueta del perro. Vale la pena el precio con eliminar esos ruidos molestos jejeje. Le pongo un diez ;-)

Nice fabric, good quality
Stretchy nicely, we used it over an electric cat door fob (so door only opens when "our" cat is near it).

I really like knowing the tags aren't getting as worn and there ...
A little more bulky than the faux leather one we had previously but this version has velcro wraps which seem to be quite secure. I really like knowing the tags aren't getting as worn and there is definitely no tag jingling.
