Beast Within, The-Villains, Book 2

OMG, I love this book and it is AMAZING. To see Beast told from this point a view makes me love Beauty and the Beast even more

This was a “behind the scenes” type feeling of a book. It was very interesting to see the story from the beasts’ POV and get alittle more background.

When I read the first book of this series, I was surprised by how much I learned about the Evil Queen from Snow White, and this book surprised me in the same way. There were lots of little tidbits given that really helped fill in the gaps in the film story, and I loved reading about the transformation of the man into the Beast. Eager to see where the next book takes us!

I am liking the theme in this series. 2nd book, the first is the evil queen, next is Ursula. Going to keep reading.

3.75 starsIt wasn’t that it was bad, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought each of these book were self contained entities in this series. In one way it was, but overall there was this over reaching plot with the series, who were featured in the first book. There was focus on their motivations and less on the Beast and Belle storyline, and I wanted the focus to be on Belle and Beast. There were just too many outside POVs that I really didn’t care about. The twist with Gaston was interesting, but I thought there was just too much of him and Tulip. It just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Omg I LOOOOOVED this book!!! Do yourself a favor and buy it!!!

I was skeptical. As a big Disney fan, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I love that it ties into our Disney background knowledge and just dives deeper into the origin story. Would recommend. The book itself is beautiful with glossy and texture. Can’t wait to finish the series and have the whole set.

I just received these books and just started reading the first one and I already love it a lot more to go but I definitely recommend this book
