Sharp Sturdy blades
Knifes are much heavier and well built than I had expected. The only down side I see is that people with very small hands might have a problem working with them. I would recommend them to my friends.

Best utility knife I have ever had!
This is a nice utility knife with lots of features. The outside is mostly thermoplastic rubber which makes it more comfortable to hold. The blade extends and retracts easily and is self locking. The blade is thicker than many. I measured 0.020 inch (20 mils). I just replaced blade in my old, live forever, orange cutter and blade thickness looks more like 0.016 inch. Two new blades are stored inside the handle. I was looking at the back and I couldn't figure out how to remove blade cap to change blade. There are 2 diagrams on the box these were shipped in. One shows the slice on top of the cap being used to break off sections of the blade. The second shows the cap being removed just by pulling out with slight twist toward cutting edge of the blade. Try it before you throw the box away. If you go looking for some secret tab for releasing the cap, you won't find any. The twist and pull required is not obvious by looking at it. Did I need more utility knives? No. Am I glad I purchased these? Yes!

Expected less, got more.
Expected a lighter, flimsier knife, but this is solid. The ratchet locking knob was my reason for selecting this, and it works better than expected… real ratchet and tension holds the blade solid, not like the thumb push sliders, that invariable start slipping.Would have paid this price for one knife, got two, with extra blades. Great deal.

What an upgrade from those other stupid skinny box cutters
I love that these have a solid grip, the blade is easy to control, and the end cap doesn't come off like it does on all those other, narrower cutters that we collected somewhere, somehow. They're sturdy and easy to control. So, now we've got one in the garage, one in the kitchen, and one in the spot where all the incoming Amazon boxes land. They make recycling a faster chore.
